Today we’re talking about something God woke me up with… water lasers cutting through stone. Yep. Blame it on pregnancy hormones or way too many home reno shows, but the Lord used this random thought to teach me about the Holy Spirit, surrender, and how He lovingly refines us—even when it doesn’t feel gentle.
What We Talk About
We’ll look at marble mining, Ezekiel 36:26, and how God cuts away the hard places in our hearts just like a master craftsman. If you’ve been feeling weary, behind, or like you’ll never “measure up,” this episode is for you.
How water jet cutters reminded me of the Holy Spirit’s power
Why surrender makes refinement gentler (ask me how I know 😅)
The simple marble-mining video that sparked big spiritual lessons
Teaching our kids big biblical truths through nature and everyday life
What it really means to let God take your stony heart
How holding onto expectations can keep us from seeing God’s answers
The painful but beautiful process of refinement
Scriptures that remind us who we are becoming: precious, jeweled, beloved
A prayer for moms walking through the refiner’s fire\
Scriptures Mentioned
Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV) — “A new heart also will I give you…”
Isaiah 62:3 (KJV) — “Thou shalt also be a crown of glory…”
Zechariah 13:9 (KJV) — “I will bring the third part through the fire…”

A Prayer for You
“Father, I lift up this momma today. If she feels like she’s in the refiner’s fire, draw close. Remind her You never look away from the gold You’re refining. Give her strength to surrender, to trust, and to know that You are forming a crown of glory in her life. Amen.”
Hey sweet friend, today’s episode is a tender, honest chat about why I’ve been away from the podcast these past few weeks. I open up about this season I’ve been walking through—pregnancy, illness, the passing of my step-mom, and moments of deep discouragement.
But I didn’t want to come on here just to share what’s been happening. I wanted to speak life over you. I close the episode praying that you won’t be discouraged in your own season… that the God of hope will pour His love out on you in a fresh way.
I pray Romans 15:13 over you:
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” (KJV)
If you’re walking through something heavy right now, consider this episode a gentle hug and a reminder that you are not alone.

Oh Momma, my heart is so heavy. The world feels blanketed in darkness, and maybe like me, you find yourself weeping at random times or holding your babies a little tighter. In this bonus episode, I open my heart about the weight of the days we’re living in and the deep questions we wrestle with:
How do we keep going when evil seems so strong?
How do we disciple our children to be warriors of light in a time like this?
How do we keep from being overcome with fear and hatred?
We turn to the One who is the Light—Jesus Christ. Together, we’ll read from John 1:1–14 and reflect on the unshakable hope we have in Him, the Light that darkness cannot overcome. We’ll also look at encouragement from Romans 12:21 and Ephesians 6:11–12, remembering that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual darkness.
I also share the story of missionary Gladys Aylward, “the small woman with a Great God,” who courageously stepped into dangerous situations with love and boldness, a reminder of what Christ can do through us.
This is not a polished message with neat answers, but a cry for strength, courage, and love in these days. May you be encouraged, reminded that you are not alone, and covered in the peace of Christ as you listen.
💛 Scriptures shared in this episode:
John 1:1–14
Romans 12:21
Hebrews 10:30
Ephesians 6:11–12

Hey sweet friend,
Have you ever felt like your days are a string of monotonous tasks — laundry, dishes, toddler meltdowns, and endless meal planning — and wondered if any of it really matters?
In today’s episode of The Grace Filled Mom Show, we’re talking about the power of small obedience and how saying “yes” to God in the everyday, ordinary moments prepares our hearts for the bigger assignments He has in store.
We’ll look at examples from Scripture — like David tending sheep and the widow with her little jar of oil — and talk about how God uses those small, unseen acts of faithfulness to build something beautiful.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode
Why your daily, ordinary tasks matter to God
How obedience in the little things grows your faith
Practical ways to walk in obedience every day
Encouragement to trust that God sees every quiet “yes”
This Week’s Challenge
Pray and ask God to show you one small area where you can walk in obedience this week.
Maybe it’s:
Putting your phone down during dinner
Starting your day in prayer
Speaking Scripture over your kids at bedtime
Write it on a sticky note, put it somewhere visible, and watch how God honors that small step of faith.

Thanks Dad. My earthly Dad and my Abba.
This is a completely raw, unedited bonus episode with all the pauses, tears, and filler words but I pray it blesses you today and you know you are loved and you have an Abba, a Heavenly Papa who loves you.
There is a long pause at one point but stay with me I was emotional.
"For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." Romans 8:15
"For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God." Isaiah 54:5-6

In today’s powerful and heartfelt episode, we’re diving into the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi — the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold — and how it beautifully reflects what God does in our hearts as Christian moms.
Motherhood can leave us feeling tired, stretched, and even broken. But what if the very places we feel cracked are where the Lord wants to pour in His healing, His strength, and His glory?
If you’ve ever felt like you’re not enough, this episode will remind you that God doesn’t waste your weakness — He transforms it into something beautiful. You’re not broken beyond repair, mama. You are being restored by the hands of the Master.

Do you ever feel like you've lost yourself in motherhood?
You’re not alone, friend — but maybe the real answer isn’t about trying to find your old self. Maybe it’s about finding new life by losing yourself in Jesus.
In this heartfelt episode, we’re flipping the script on that worn-out narrative of burnout and rediscovery. Instead of desperately trying to hold onto who we used to be, let’s talk about the freedom that comes from laying it all down at the feet of Jesus — pride, selfishness, striving — and allowing Him to transform us into the mom, the woman, the daughter of God He created us to be.
You’ll walk away with:
A biblical view on “losing yourself” that actually brings more joy, patience, and peace
A fresh understanding of how motherhood can sanctify, not strip away your purpose
💬 Key Scriptures:
Matthew 16:25 (KJV) – “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”
Galatians 2:20 (KJV) – “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me...”
