Ep. 9 | Jacob Emran: "Psychedelic, Folky...Weird...Sh*t"

In this episode T sits down with Nashville psychedelic-folk artist, singer-songwriter Jacob Emran. Jacob Emran is a multi-instrumentalist whose original music fuses elements of folk, blues, jazz, rock and hip-hop. His live performances showcase this eclectic mix of influences and he always delivers a dynamic set, from stripped-down folk-style ballads to huge, power-trio psychedelic rock, combining live instrumentation with looped samples from his beloved Roland SP-404.

They discuss the ebb and flow of gigs and income from live performances in Nashville, his early memories of music and his eclectic taste, his upcoming releases and his new single "EARTH CONTROL," incorporating samples and loops into his live performances, and using visual elements to accompany his studio releases and live shows.
