This week I am joined by Chinelo a Senior Children's wellbeing practitioner on her journey into the role, the advice she would give to anyone who would want to pursue this role and how she stays level headed and grounded in her role.
The fact that I found most surprising in this conversation was there is only ONE black male Children's wellbeing practitioner in her trust.
Let me know in the comments what surprised you most?
This week I have the wonderful former investment banker turned entrepreneur Nicole Klutse joining me. She takes us through her journey of finding her purpose through faith. This weeks reflection is a reminder to read back your old journal entries. You may be pleasantly surprised on how much you have grown. I also offer journaling prompts for anyone who may want to start their journaling journey but aren’t sure where to begin.
If you have ever felt like you did not deserve the good things that have happened to you this week’s reflection is for you. I got really personal with this week’s reflection. Sometimes we subscribe to the version of ourselves that others have created and reclaiming yourself can be such a challenge.
Does anyone really know what the heck they are doing? I THINK NOT. I think we are all winging it.. some better than others but we are winging it. I have no clue what I am doing half of the time but i live by trial and error. I can be 100% set on something but if it goes wrong I can always PIVOT. PIVOT is my reflection of the week because it has come up so many times this week. so many success stories start with I thought i was going to do abc but then that turned into xyz , i pivoted, i made lemonade out of lemons and you can too. be flexible in life it will get you far.
This weeks reflection of the week is all about SPACES. You are exactly where you are supposed to be Knowing that you can enter any space you want to and you should not feel otherwise knowing when to leave a toxic space - Married at first sight UK loving and appreciating the people who give you a safe space.
This week’s reflection serves to remind you that you are so worthy, you deserve to be here. with every step we take closer to success imposter syndrome tends to pop back up to bite us. You want a promotion, you want to try something new, enter a new space or even just change your hairstyle! Imposter syndrome will tell you to get straight back into the box that you are used to. Even though you have clearly outgrown the box. Your legs are damn near poking out..
If you are always comparing yourself to other people, it is because you do not truly know your worth. You do not know the unique purpose that you have and how important your existence on this earth is. There is no race and there is no comparison because you have a unique role to fulfil during your time on earth. My reflection of the week is know your purpose and I think a great example of that is the Wayans brothers.
Stepping into your villain era is a crucial part of healing. No! I do not mean actually becoming a menace. I just mean trusting yourself and your journey so much that when people make you out to be a villain, you understand what is really happening. You know who you are and who you're trying to become. The ones who love you will love it!
As I am going through this healing journey there are downs but there are so many UPS. The lesson of this week is very clear.. If you have good people around you who push you to want to become the best version of yourself. Keep them and hold them BUT if you have people around you who make you feel any less than the amazing person than you are it’s your responsibility to fix that. So this video is - appreciation for good people and a reminder for YOU to check your tribe is intact. You cannot fully grow with weeds!! Also take your vitamins guys LOOOOL! Pls pls
I am in a space of healing, growth and mindfulness and I want to continue to share this journey with you all!Â

It seems like a lot of us are choosing to prioritise, work, savings etc over nurturing our friendships. Leave a comment below to share your thoughts on the topic!
