Sunset Sunrise is a heartfelt, quietly uplifting comedy-drama about a man who leaves behind his fast-paced Tokyo life for a seaside town, where unexpected encounters and new connections lead him to rediscover meaning, community, and hope. Balancing gentle humor with emotional depth, the film reflects on change, belonging, and second chances without ever feeling heavy-handed. The movie was directed by Yoshiyuki Kishi and stars Ken Mitsuishi, Machiko Ono, Jun Kunimura, and Haru Kuroki.
