This week, I discussed a topic that isn't being talked about enough which is the widespread racism and discrimination in the healthcare system. Black expecting mothers are dying at incredibly high rates, the medical system is outwardly discriminating against trans and gender non-conforming people and all of this stems from a system that is incredibly flawed. The healthcare system is meant to protect individuals but but it's also the same system that makes individuals fearful of doctors than death.
This week I talked about how college prep schools start and end their students preparation for college at time management and excessive homework. Everyone says college is hard and their but no one tells you why that is. I discussed how the goal of college prep schools should be on how to prepare their students to succeed in college instead of just preparing their students to attend college. I also discussed college burnout, the overwhelming workload of college, and academic anxiety.
