This is my conversation with Eddie Bingham. This is the second consecutive conversation with a North Wales specialist, as I continue to explore our great British National parks, and short term lets in and around them.
Eddie has, over the last 9 years, grown his property portfolio in North Wales from zero up for 40 properties. He has achieved this by following the tried and tested method of buy, refurbish, rent and refinance. Or the BRRR method, as it is also known.
It is not only great to see how this method has been used so effectively, but also, how it has been combined with short term lets, in and around National Parks.
Eddies has a mix of properties in his portfolio, with about a third of his properties being short term lets and the remainder traditional longer term lets. He very much looks at each property on its merit, and decides whether it is best suited for long or short term letting, and consistently reassesses them. A very sound way of thinking about it.
