We're joined by ANCCIF president Steven Torres and former US youth internationalist Alex Popovich to cover the story of an important tournament which has largely been forgotten in the history of US soccer.Alex and his teammates made the journey to Guatemala in 1964 to compete in an under 19s youth tournament, representing the United States. They were the first team from the US in history to compete at this tournament.Sadly, little record exists of their participation in the tournament, even at national level. This is the story of Alex's career, the tournament itself and the fight for their participation in Guatemala to be recognised.

We're joined by Robbie Mcilwraith and Erik Ellison, two co-founders of the new Inverness Thistle, the first club to compete in Scotland's professional pyramid since they merged with Caledonian to form Inverness CT in 1994.
Many people aren't aware of the deep opposition and hurt football supporters in Inverness felt when it was proposed that the cities two biggest clubs, Thistle and Caledonian, should merge to join the Scottish Football League. Sadly, the decision was pushed through and fans were left without clubs to support, refusing to follow the newly created club in Inverness.
But now, one of those clubs have returned.

We're joined by Scott Coyne from The Belgian Football Podcast and RWDM supporter Filip van der Elst to talk about one of the most controversial stories to come out of Belgina football this year.
Having undertaken no fan consultation, RWDM owner John Textor abruptly changed the name of the club to Daring Brussels, while also changing their matricule number to 2.
It's a move that has went down terribly with supporters who have since took to the streets in protest.

We're jouned by author of Super Squad, Colin Whelan, to talk about big Stan Bowles, one of his heroes and one of football's mavericks in the 70s and 80s.
Many people view Stan Bowles as the player who could have been, which is incredible considering he still played to a very high standard. But, like many superstars of the era, he could have become so much more.

We're joined by Uygar, Cafer and Fatih, three men from Bursa, to tell us the unique story of the rise, fall and revival of their club - Bursaspor.
In 2010, Bursaspor became only the second club not from Istanbul to win the Turkish Süper Lig title, a feat accomplished by fielding local players brought through their academy and with the fanatical drive of a united Bursa behind them.
Since then though, it's been far from plain sailing.
The club made headlines this season when, while in the 4th tier, they attracted a crowd of 45,000 fans to their ground, also famous for it's design which replicates a crocodile.
This episode dives into everything Bursaspor - from the club history, fan culture and title success, to the mismanagement and beginning of the rise back to the top,

We're joined once again by journalist and author Miguel Pereira to talk about the new subculture making waves in Spanish football and the cultural phenomenon that underpins it.
'Pasión' is a concept which encapsulates the expression of extravagant, unbridled joyn and loyalty which manifests itself on Spain's terraces. It is a cultural phenomenon, similar in concept to 'Saudade' in Portugal.
In Spain's 3rd and 4th tier, a new subculture of fan-owned phoenix clubs has swept across the country. The founders of these clubs embody Pasión in it's purest form, forming new clubs to carry forward an identity and set of values which rogue billionaire owners took from them.
We cover this Miguel in full, through the lens of his latest book.

We're joined by journalist and author Ronny Blaschke for a deep dive into the relationship between football and power, and how colonialism is one of the most noticeable examples of power manifesting itself within football.
Power as a concept can be difficult to describe, but football clubs, supporters, associations and governments all leverage power to achieve objectives, strategically plan and bring about change in their societies through the medium of football.
