To kick off the new series of the Everymind podcast, Paul sits down with mental health campaigner and Founder of Sophie Says, Esther Marshall. After working at Unilever in multiple HR strategy, Sustainability, Innovation and Diversity and Inclusion roles for 9 years, she left to set up Sophie Says, a new children's brand. She tells the emotional story of her sister Rebecca’s struggle with mental illness and how she was the catalyst and inspiration to setting up Sophie Says after losing her to suicide.

Esther shares her experience in motherhood and how this has opened her eyes to a whole new perspective of mental health, and specifically children’s mental health and interestingly asks ‘Are we raising our children to be resilient?’
