Some of the biggest and best moments from the night: Beyonce took home her first ever album of the year win making her the fourth Black woman in history to receive those honors. So, look, 2025 came out the gate swinging 🤦🏾‍♂️Only 1 week into the year (episode recorded Jan 6) & we already have had some major developments to the year thus far. Full transparency I had to go back into the lab with this one to punch in a few times because the news cycle has been that unpredictable. Off top prayers & condolences to all of the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires that have completely devastated several lives, homes, structures, and communities.

Unfortunately, the wildfires are just one of the several different events that have taken place thus far in 2025. A southwestern South Korea flight crashed, leaving at least 179 people dead. Also, the MTA continues to allow the inmates to run the asylum as, yet another victim has fallen due to lack of serious safety/security measures. We start the episode a little morbid so at some point I get us out of the darkness and we have some new music to discuss this week as well.

Wow, 5 months away…obviously I told y'all I was taking a break, however 5 months is kind of crazy 🤪. Obviously I have some explaining to do 🫣, and I WILL be doing just that in this episode, for the next 5 hours + I will be pouring out my heart and soul on this microphone 🎙️ , as I reflect back on the year #2024 sharing my perspective and experiences that I had this year, completely free-styled, off the dome 🫨 No docket, no scripts, no cap 🧢 just one mic 🎙️ my TRUTH, & also my humble opinion on certain situations that took place this year.

I start the episode off by sharing my experience during my 5 month debacle, and why I decided to step away from the podcast, but also why I decided return. I will spend a good a majority of the episode highlighting some of the major players/moments of 2024, as well as pay homage to some of the people who we lost this year 🤲🏿 . My reaction to some new music, top stories in sports, at some point I delve into some politics, brush through a few top stories, then I close the episode with my version of the wrap up (a poem I wrote about 2024). I'm not going to lie I missed this shit. Wow, episode 72? How did I do this shit? 😂like I'm really sitting here typing season finale and it's just now really starting to sink in. You can go as far as you want to go as long as you have belief, faith, but more importantly DEDICATION with a hint of consistency. I say "hint" not to downplay the importance of being consistent, but to highlight the importance taking the time for yourself to rest and reset. With that being said this episode is the finale of season 3 Everybody Can't Go Podcast🙏🏾I'm so grateful and honestly just humbled at the thought of how far I can actually take this platform.

When I reflect back on season 3 and where I was in life when this season started, and all the work and sacrifice that was made to deliver these episodes, I honestly must say while I appreciate every viewer that tunes in, I still remain my number 1 fan because I know exactly what it took for me to navigate through this shit when the cameras weren't on and the mic's was off. I know exactly what my response was whenever adversity came my way, I know exactly how I handled those situations, but most importantly I know exactly what the outcome of those situations were. I choose to document a few of them and share those stories on this podcast so feel free to back track and relive season 3 starting from episode 49.

I say all of that to say this, TIMEOUT. It's time to shut up for a moment. I will be taking some much-needed time off to handle some business, detox, mental health, financial growth, you know PRIORITIES. As much as I love talking shit into a microphone I do understand and acknowledge the fact that THIS is NOT a priority. The #betawards2024 took place this past week and there were a few highlights but what is an award show without controversy and criticism? A few take aways from the night.
