Coming Home to Your Body: A Mother’s Journey to Healing and Intimacy, with Dr Eva Yacobi
In today’s episode, my good friend and colleague, Dr Eva Yacobi, a Functional Medicine and Naturopathic Doctor and Somatic Intimacy Coach interviews me for her podcast; Intimately Speaking. Eva has generously allowed me to share this conversation where she interviews me on my personal journey to this work. And because she’s such a dear friend, this is a deeply personal and heartfelt conversation where I open up about my journey from surviving sexual abuse to finding healing and transformation through my academic studies in Sexology and certification in Tantric Somatic Sacred Sexuality practices and Embodiment Coaching methodologies.   We talk about what it really means to feel safe in your body, how self-pleasure can be a renewable, regenerative resource in your life, not just self-care, as well as the importance of body positivity and acceptance, especially for those of us navigating life after motherhood.   I also share how I incorporate these principles into my children’s lives, how they’ve informed the way I engage in motherhood, and how they’ve helped me to build healthier, more open mother-child relationships when it comes to body awareness and boundaries.   If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your body or intimacy, especially after having kids, this conversation is for you. This episode offers gentle, empowering insights on how we as mothers can begin to reconnect with ourselves, rediscover pleasure, and create deeper, more fulfilling intimate lives, as well as being a reminder that sexual healing isn’t just possible, it can be life-changing, not only for us, but for our families and future generations too.       GUEST LINKS: Website: https://naturopathicalchemy.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dr.evayacobi Substack: https://substack.com/@drevayacobi   === ===•Website: https://www.vilates.com/ •Rebirth 1:1 coaching: https://www.vilates.com/the-rebirth-intimate-coaching •Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vilates_/ •Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3fs2KlkHNzICKAg2crZSMB •Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-ecology-of-intimacy-podcast/id1772602980 ===   Disclaimer This podcast is presented solely for educational and entertainment purposes.
