This week I'm joined by Harrison Ward aka The Fell Foodie
Harrison is an outdoor cook, hiker and mental health speaker and has appeared at various festivals around the UK and other speaking events as well as appearing on Mary Berry’s Love to Cook TV Programme.
He developed a love of cooking from a young age, and described himself as a happy go lucky child until puberty where he felt as though he was suddenly hit with depression as if out of no where. In our conversation we chat about his life and how he came to use alcohol as a way to manage until 2016 when things came to a head.
This podcast explores the topics of addiction, recovery and suicide and Harrison shares some of the ways that he found that helped him to where he is today, 7 years sober and a soon to be published author.
