Dearest Dramione & Dramione Podcast Fan,
It has been 4 years since our first episode in May 2021 ❤️. So many beautiful moments, treasured fanfics, life-time memories, intense laughs and cries and... 28 episodes later, we, Georgy and Diana, feel this magical podcast has reached an organic end.
The Dramione Podcast is one of the funnest, most rewarding, full of love and friendship thing we've ever done and are immensely grateful to YOU, to our amazing Dramione authors, the wonderful volunteers who make AO3 and the other fanfic website possible, and to one another ❤️.
We have a few recommendations of fanfics in this episode, too, some truly magnificent which we discovered since our previous episode. We hope you will love them, too.
This episode is short and (bitter-)sweet :), but you know us so well by know, you know what we stand for, what our values are, what our favorite fanfics are, what makes us smile and cry, what Georgy likes and Diana doesn't and vice-versa, so we just wanted to be with you one more time and say "We love you so much".

It has a brilliantly perfect name: "Bloody, Slutty and Pathetic". It has everything: Smart and witty writing, characters you fall in love with, gradual, credible and captivating evolution in the Dramione relationship, humor, politics and schemes, one of the strongest Dramione couples and, of course, excellent smut!
If you haven't read it and were looking for something to take you on an unforgettable Dramione ride, this is your fic.

Missed you sooo "muchly", dearest Dramione friends <3. Here's a special kind of episode for you in Valentine's month, because, truly, what a better depiction of love than our Draco & Hermione?
Why is this episode different? We focus on the most important moments in their relationship and their significance: from when he shows her his library, when they see each other's scars, when he asks for her forgiveness, when they save each other's lives, when they first touch (...and do other things ;)) ... over to when he gets his Weasley sweater, ... up to when they marry and eventually have kids and choose their names.
After reading hundreds of Dramione masterpieces, we bring together these beautiful stepping stones in the Dramione relationship and fawn over them, like we usually do, because... they make our knees weak and our hearts melt. We cover over 20 of these moments and comment on why they are important, how we like them and remember fanfics that did a terrific job at describing them.

It's been 5 months since our last episode (OMG!) and we've done our homework. Georgy and I believe we haven't had an episode with SO many new fanfic recommendations... All truly wonderful, satisfying all kinds of tastes and some... truly God-tier Dramione fics.

Welcome back, dearest Dramione fans <3! Ready for some Draco-and-Hermione-our-favorite-couple talk?
Not so fast, though, hehe: Before we discuss Dramione, we have a lovely (we think) and from-the-heart gift for you, our wonderful friends. It has been a request from some of our dear listeners <3 and honestly, it made so much sense, we had to fulfill this wish. What is that gift you may ask? You will just have to listen and find out. We promise it is so, so worth it. We (Georgy especially) worked on it assiduously from the past weeks, for it to be ready for this episode. It's also a thank-you from the bottom of our hearts, as we reached 5,000 plays with The Dramione Podcast exactly on Valentine's Day. Wooow and multiple yay-hurray!

We're so excited to be recording today's episode: Not only are we recording this face to face and it's the first episode of the year, but we also get to talk about our favorite tall blonde smirking prat Slytherin. Who could it beee?
Yes, you have guessed it… it’s the Best Dracos episode, or... at least one of the Best Draco episodes, because HOW can one include all of them in just one episode?
Today’s classification was decided by Georgy, who thought that a more chronological approach was best:

We wanted to do something special to celebrate their 1 year anniversary of reading Dramione, fanfiction that changed our lives. This is what came out ;).
We recorded a funny, witty and insightful special 1 year anniversary episode about this wonderful journey: discovering and reading Dramione, doing the podcast, what we realized about ourselves and our wonderful friendship and some stats along the way to pay homage to our economics roots 😉 (we met at university).

Aaand we're back (kind of from outer space) after a 1-month break, caused by Georgy being a little sick, Diana being a little busy and life happening.
But, no reason to despair, because this episode is a TREAT! Topic for today, thoroughly and "in-depthly" analyzed is one of the favorite tropes of the Dramione pairing: Memory Loooss/ Obliviatiooon!
Why is this trope so popular? Because Draco and Hermione have a horrible past together and forgetting what happened allows them to see each other with new eyes, for who they truly are, or who they could have been without a certain pureblood upbringing. THIS IS OUR FIRST IN PERSON EPISODE. We met in New York and recorded the episode while looking into each other's eyes. Sooo romantic, hahaaa!

Dramione tiiime, everyone - today more than ever, because it's Sept 19th, i.e. Hermione's bday.
