Hello Beautiful souls welcome to the Divine introspect podcast. My name is Kwamina Jo and I have had the idea of starting a podcast for a while, to honestly get the answers to questions I had myself and to have more open conversation about everyday topics we women might deal with. I just want to ask uncomfortable questions, I want honest conversations, spaces where women are allowed to ask anything that comes to mind and reflect on their lives. Through talking with friends and women all around I realized we all desire to be more of ourselves, to break away from the limitations we may have internalized or that society has placed on us. We just want to be authentic, we are here for a good time and we will have it!! As a black woman I am all about uplifting the women around me, creating the space for us to be vulnerable, to be soft and to experience joy. This podcast is testament of that, therefore I will tackle topics such as dealing with depression, vocalizing the need for help, learning how to be vulnerable but also topics such as dating, being petty or what the world calls immature haha. By drawing lessons from various personal stories, experiences and reflections. I hope that this also encourages you to look further into yourself and uncover more of you, your essence and the depth of your soul.
