Joshua and Matthew are tackling quite the subject for their next few entries, The Evil Dead series, and they are starting with the progenitor; The Evil Dead. We're taken to the year 1981, where some friends go away for the weekend, find a grimoire (the necronomicon), in which demons are called upon by an ancient Sumerian chant that kill everyone but, you guessed it, the main character, Mr. Killer Jawline... and all of this happens in 85 minutes! For such a short runtime, this movie still packs such a serious punch that it'll send you flying into every IKEA shelving unit that you could possibly imagine. Well, loverboys and lovergirls, have yourself a listen while we conjure our own legion of facts, trivia, and history that went into The Evil Dead, and no, we did not mean to try and make this episode around the same runtime as the movie for a gag.
