Rob’s passion for health and wellness is obvious to anyone who has met him. He believes that we were made to jump and run and move like we did when we were children and that everyone can benefit from functional fitness which improves these movements. I believe that human beings were made to be in nature, surrounded by trees and water and fresh air. I believe that our sedentary lifestyle and diet filled with processed foods is what is causing so many health problems in America. I joined the Army as a young adult and thought that I was in good shape during my time in service. But I am in better condition now, at almost 40 than I was in my early 20s. What happened in between is that I discovered Crossfit and the MovNat approach to fitness. Crossfit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. MovNat is a physical education & fitness system based on the full range of natural human movement abilities. These include the locomotive skills of walking, running, jumping, balancing, crawling, climbing & swimming. Combining these two techniques has improved my quality of life and that of 100s of members here at Crossfit Williamsville.
