Ilya Lagutenko has changed not only the music but also the clothes, hairstyles and behavior of Russian young people. He's also a a great guy!

D.H. Peligro is an American punk rock musician, most commonly known in hardcore punk and as the drummer extraordinaire for the legendary Dead Kennedys. He has also played drums with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and fronted his own hardcore metal band Peligro. Last November his autobiography Dreadnaught: King of Afropunk was released by Rare Bird Books.

Our pal Fred Armisen! Widely known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2002 until 2013,[3] Armisen has portrayed characters in comedy films, including EuroTrip, Anchorman, and Cop Out. With his comedy partner Carrie Brownstein, Armisen is the co-creator and co-star of the IFC sketch comedy series Portlandia. Armisen founded ThunderAnt.com, a website that features the comedy sketches created with Brownstein, and is the bandleader for the Late Night with Seth Meyers house band, The 8G Band. Just in time for the 40th Anniversary of the premiere of SNL on October 11, 1975!

Sam Phillips is an American singer, songwriter, composer and actress. She began her career in the contemporary Christian music industry but, uncomfortable with that image and industry, she re-branded herself as "Sam"—transitioning into the mainstream market after meeting producer T-Bone Burnett. She has released eight albums including the critically acclaimed Martinis and Bikinis in 1994. She has also composed scores for the television shows Gilmore Girls and Bunheads. And she played an assassin in Die Hard 3!!!

She is most well known for her films, Gas Food Lodging, Mi Vida Loca and Grace of My Heart. Most recently Allison has worked in television on shows like Orange is the New Black and the Emmy nominated television movie Ring of Fire. She has also been awarded a MacArthur Genius Grant as well as a Peabody Award. Tiffany Anders is a top music supervisor of films, including the recent End of the Tour. Rachel Young is Allison's Mom and Tiffany's Grandmother!

According to both Perry Ferrell and the folks behind the bacchanal that is Burning Man, Stuart's Desolation Center shows featuring the Meat Puppets, the Minutemen, Sonic Youth, Einstürzende Neubauten and Mark Pauline's Survival Research Laboratories were the inspiration of both Lollapalooza and Burning Man.
