In the 6th episode of the corporate explainers podcast we explore the field of Psychology.
COVID offered multiple challenges. Business models were made redundant and new ones were created. One sector which saw demand rise was the mental wellbeing space. Today we speak to Nithya who works as a psychologist and runs her own mental wellbeing startup. We discuss what the field is and the opportunity that lies in this space.
One thing which was clear after speaking with her was that this field is still relatively unexplored and will be growing fast in the coming years. I would describe this career as having to take the stairs to success rather than the elevator which is available with some of the traditional career pathways.
