Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why you're friends with the people in your life? Are they there by default, or did you choose them intentionally?
For most of my life, I didn’t think much about what kind of friendships I actually needed. I connected from a place of loneliness, afraid to set boundaries, thinking that being a "good friend" meant accepting everything, even when it hurt me. But something shifted when I started practicing Authentic Relating. I realized that true friendship isn’t about avoiding conflict—it’s about showing up fully, communicating openly, and trusting that connection can hold space for both joy and discomfort.
In this episode, I share my journey of moving from unconscious, scarcity-based friendships to deep, intentional connections. We’ll explore how to navigate triggers, set boundaries, and embrace the discomfort that comes with real, authentic relationships. Because friendship isn’t just about fun—it’s about growth, healing, and mutual support.
