161. The Scale of Emotions: Feeling Better in Concussion Recovery

I reflected on this emotional scale. It includes 22 emotions ranging from "most pleasant" to "least pleasant." If you're not feeling great, try to climb a few steps higher on this scale. What emotion are you experiencing right now, and what higher-frequency emotion can you tap into to help you feel better?

Scale of emotions (Find the highest attainable emotion that is possible for you at this moment):

  1. Love, appreciation, empowerment, freedom
  2. Passion
  3. Enthusiasm, motivation, happiness
  4. Positive expectations, belief
  5. Optimism
  6. Hope
  7. Contentment
  8. Boredom
  9. Pessimism
  10. Frustration, impatience, irritation
  11. Feeling overwhelmed
  12. Disappointment
  13. Doubt
  14. Worry
  15. Blame
  16. Discouragement
  17. Anger
  18. Feelings of revenge
  19. Hatred
  20. Jealousy
  21. Insecurity, guilt, feeling unworthy
  22. Fear, sadness, depression, despair, helplessness
