The twentieth episode of Poker Face was titled The Big Pump and was the tenth episode of the show’s second season. Charlie joins a gym and tries to avoid getting involved in other people’s business. In this podcast Gerry and Iain look at gym etiquette.

















This week, Charlie makes friends with Alex (Patti Harrison), who persuades her to join the local gym – The Brick House – owned and operated by Frank ‘Brick’ Bricatino (Method Man). When gym goer Rodney (Jason Ritter) is killed in an apparent accident, Charlie is reluctant to get involved despite noting some untruths in Brick’s account of the death.







It transpires Brick’s wife, Lily (Natasha Leggero), is supplying human milk, skimmed from a supply at the maternity centre where she works, which Brick sells to his members to improve their performance and results in the gym. As a city health inspector, Rodney could not tolerate this, but by digging into the matter, Charlie and Alex place themselves in danger.
