This Law does not sound very exciting but it is closely aligned with manifesting our desires. It can be summed up with the simple phrase "As within, so without". This law states that your outer world is a mirror of your inner world. Your beliefs, thoughts and subconscious patterns create a kind of energeticblueprint. The world then reflects that blueprint back to you through your experiences. In this meditation we are inviting an illumination of the inner beliefs that are holding us back and begin to gently re-shape them to align with our truth and with what we want to experience in our lives.

The Universal Law of Vibration states that everything is in motion states that everything in the universe is in constant motion and has its own vibrational frequency. Nothing is ever truly still. Every atom, every star, every tree, every thought and feeling carries its own energetic vibration. Think about it. We all know what it feels like to walk into a room where tension is hanging in the air. Nobody has to say a word, you feel it instantly. Or the opposite when you walk into a space that’s light and joyful and you can almost breathe more deeply. We are likelittle energetic transmitters, broadcasting our frequency whether we realise it or not. You can think of it like music. Every emotion is a different note. Joy hums at one frequency, grief at another. The good news is: we have agency here. We can become aware of our own vibration and learn to manage it. Through breath, movement, intention, music, time in nature, or simply shifting our thoughts, we can tune ourselves to a frequency that aligns with how we want to live. This is wherethe chakra system comes in beautifully. Each chakra resonates with its own energetic frequency. When they’re balanced and flowing, we feel harmonised. When they’re blocked, our vibration can feel muddied. By working with breath and awareness through the chakras, we tune the instrument of the self.

The first Universal Law is the Law of Divine Oneness that states that all things are intrinsically linked. Every person, plant, rock, star, thought, event and atom are all connected at an energetic level. Even the Bible agrees, with the passage "So we, being many, are one body". This is the first and most profound of the Universal Laws and allows us to find deep compassion, kindness and open-heartedness. Let this sit lightly within and over the coming weeks we will build on the Universal Laws - all 12 of them!

We all feel fear at various times. When we are faced with danger our fear is our friend, keeps us sharp and responsive. However, fear can creep into areas of our lives that do not require this response and can come in many forms. It can be felt in the knot in your stomach when money feels uncertain or waiting for news you can’t control. It might be around the conversation you know will change everything or a sudden phone call that shakes the ground beneath you. And sometimes, it’s simply the quiet dread of not knowing what comes next. Fear is part of being human. But you don’t have to be swallowed by it. This meditation is an invitation to meet your fear, to look it in the eye, and to find the steadiness that still lives beneath it.

It often feels like we spend a lot of our time looking backwards to the past. True, our past informs how we respond and react in the present, but it runs the danger of defining us. The past is gone and the present is all we have and all we can influence is our future. So in today’s meditation I would like to invite you to acknowledge the past - we are not denying it - but to turn towards the future and imagine the future that we want, desire for ourselves. So this is a gentle re-direction from examining and turning over the past again and again, to gazing onto the horizon of what the future may hold, without fear, without judgement and without taking the past with us. The past is a heavy load to carry. Let's put that heaviness down and see what the future has in store, with a light heart and with our intentionsset for our best selves to step on to that path in front of us. We’re not denying the past — we honour it for what it has taught us — but in this meditation we’ll soften its weight, and step forward with open hearts onto the path ahead.
