120: Create a Year-Defining Challenge That Changes Everything

In this episode, I talk about what happens when you finally sign up for something that scares you. I share a story about one of my clients who went after a massive goal, one that forced him to change who he was in order to reach it. Because if you don’t change, you’ll never get there. And even if you do, you won’t be able to sustain it.

We get into the deeper side of growth: how fear never really goes away, how the people who chase big dreams don’t wait for confidence, they act despite the fear, and how that process rewires your identity.

I talk about the Japanese concept of Misogi, which means creating a year-defining challenge, something so big it demands you become someone new.

This conversation is for anyone who’s been playing small, waiting for the right moment, or talking about the thing they want to do instead of doing it. Because at some point, you have to get off the sidelines, step into the arena, and see who you become on the other side.
