Anyone who plays video games as a hobby has undoubtedly played a few bad games that had no redeeming qualities. Final Fantasy 9 has been acclaimed as one of the best in the series for returning to the series roots of medievil fantasy along with an emotional story and characters. This game also symbolized the end of Final Fantasy on the PS1 before the transition to newer consoles which marked a new era for the series.
