It only took over two years from the initial, short-lived rumors which I nevertheless jumped full-body in to with the prediction/demand that the Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop in a Hawkeye show thing HAD TO HAPPEN … and here we are! We did it! I am thrilled beyond compared to be here with you doing these commentaries for something I only dared to hope would actually come through… and it did… and it’s great. I do an extended intro for just this first episode, but we are going to do all six episodes and usually I’ll just count you right in to the episode on Disney Plus and we’ll have a blast watching together. Jesstrodamus got this one right, it was a doozie, and I’m just thrilled the world gets to see the greatness of Renner + Steinfeld that I always saw would be pure gold and clearly MCU chief Kevin Feige did as well, and endless thanks and praise to him for seeing it and making it happen despite a ton of obstacles.
