I talk about Arcane in this episode. This is a must-watch. Talking about it does not do it justice.
Spoiler warning for the topics I speak about in this episode but I'm sure you are aware by now that spoilers is what we do. Be sure to check out the show and the others mentioned in previous episodes if you like the description.
In this episode, I talk about a series I just finished watching myself. Each episode is gripping and a definite must-watch. Please watch it if you can.
In this episode, I go in and gave an episode break down for the show talking about what each episode could mean for the universe as a whole if they decide to follow through. As always, you already know I tend to do spoilers when talking about a show or movie so not really gonna mention that going forward. Remember to go watch the show before listening if you don't like to be spoiled before watching.
We have a patreon with merch available so be sure to check it out.

Spoiler alert.

I had fun talking to this legend among us and learning what it takes to make it in the music industry. Ivan Bodley takes us through some of the highlights of his career in music and how to make a living doing what you are passionate about.
You can find anything Ivan Bodley related at http://www.funkboy.net/

In this episode, I got the opportunity to speak to Lucinda, who among other things, is a proud nerd. I enjoyed getting her perspective on shows and movies as a Theatre Lecturer and also learning about her views on what is happening in nerd culture and the world as a whole.
You can find her latest episode as of the recording of this podcast at https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/story-power/id1524657088 .
You can also find more on her blog https://sagewoman.life/ including her books so be sure to check that out.
We get to talk to Allison, a self-made businesswoman with an eye for anything tech-related. Finding out about her experiences as a gamer in the 90s was an eye-opener for me and helps me appreciate how far the industry has come in the last 30 years. We also find out how being a nerd has helped Allison get to where she is now.
You can reach her at allison@geekinyourpocket.com and you can find her services on www.geekinyourpocket.com .
In this episode, we had the privilege to talk to an accomplished author and entrepreneur, Dominique"Dom" Brightmon about his favourites in games and anime and how they helped him become who he is today. There is a little bit of a spoiler warning on this episode for those that have yet to see The Clone Wars. But I talk about what I've been busy with in terms of the content I've been exposed to and what mindset I approach them with. I'd like to get more details about the stories of some of my favourite characters from the franchise and The Clone Wars seemed like a good place to start. Been hesitant as it initially aired on Cartoon Network but after the first few episodes, those fears have been put to rest. I hope it helps you make your decision about whether or not to watch it and that the next series helps explain how I see the show.
Spoiler Warning
I this episode I talk about Marvel's What If and why you would be paying attention to the events of the series in general. Everything from Loki, Wandavision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be important in the movies to come and the MCU moving forward so ya'll need to get on that.
Spoiler Warning, as I mentioned at the beginning of the episode, if you haven't seen the show, go watch it, then come back cause I talk about the whole season here. I am really enjoying the show so far and it has made me stop watching as other shows have with the portrayal of the story. There are some parts where I question the use of CGI but they are quite negligible for the moment in season 1. If you have any thoughts you'd like to share with me about the episode or the show, you can either send me a voice message on Anchor or leave a comment or message on my social media. Until next time, Take care.
Been away for a little while so I hope you didn't miss me too much. Been processing the emotions that come with the loss of a loved one and last month was overwhelming. But onward and upward as they say. In this episode, I just wanted to touch base and talk about recent happenings, namely been thinking about a cancelled game called Scalebound. Then, Marvel's What If animated series launched this week and what a way for them to start. Next, Guild Wars 2 has big plans in the works and the changes coming should make MMORPG players excited. For those who want to get into more depth when it comes to the lore and stories in Guild Wars, check out the podcast I mention in the episode: https://open.spotify.com/show/1GkxwoZbBxpIfIrtWS8kCR?si=vtZQXVZWQLKGUOLnuis_Rw&dl_branch=1
As always, be safe. I will get back to full-length episodes when I can. Let me know if there is a topic you want me to cover.

Spoiler Warning for those that are hearing of this franchise for the first time. I can easily say that this game took up most of my time for a couple of years. The replayability was part of what kept me coming back. But the major part was the story and the medium. This game trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart and as a Star Trek fan, it partially played into that fantasy of mine to command a starship and fight aliens as well as build diplomatic relations with them. If this series covering the trilogy influences you to play the game, I hope you will tell me how you find it as the choices make the game a unique experience for everyone. Figure out your way to play and enjoy it.

Spoiler warning for those planning to play the game. For everyone else, in this episode, I talk about my thoughts on the Tell Me Why game that was free to claim on Steam a couple of weeks ago. I got so engrossed in the game that any time one of the characters said something to the player's character, I felt like they were saying it to me and sometimes that would make me angry as you come to see some aspect of what Transgender people and people in the LGBT+ community face every day. This is an example of a game doing their best to educate others by putting them in the shoes of someone that faces that kind of judgement, someone who has experienced great trauma and overcome it and persisted to become who they were meant to be. I really enjoyed making this episode and I hope you enjoy listening.

I really had fun with this one. Like I said in the episode, Spoiler warning. If you have not seen the show, go and watch it first before I spoil it for you. That being said, Don't forget to go and follow my social media accounts. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, just search Benzium and you should find them easily. This show really got to my feelings and took me to places I didn't know a tv show could. I could myself questioning motives and when you find out why someone did something in the show, you are either relieved they stay true to themselves or more confused but in a good way that keeps you engaged and immersed in the world the show is presenting to you.

This is one of my favourite shows to date. Heavy lore present in the series and you need to pay attention to all the characters and what they say or do or you'll be lost when things are brought up later. Spoiler Warning, if you plan to watch the show and hate spoilers, don't listen to this until after you finish all 8 seasons. If you listen anyway, I tried to warn you. That being said, unless you have read the books, it is a show where you don't know what to expect to pop up. I first thought it was gonna be a normal Drama but as the show progresses, it proves that wrong in so many ways.

In this episode, I wanted to give you an idea of what you will face when starting the Elite Dangerous game. This is the largest game in terms of map size and detail that I have had the pleasure of experiencing and would recommend any space fans that have ever wanted to command their very own ship and fly among the stars to give it a try. The game can be hard to get into, and the learning curve is high, but it will be an experience like no other once you find your way to play.

In this episode, I wanted to address some of the misconceptions that people have about Anime. I talk about some examples such as the idea that Anime is for kids purely because of the medium of being animated. The source I use for the misconception can be found here: https://www.theodysseyonline.com/10-common-misconceptions-anime . The source I used for examples of the educational aspects of anime can be found in Dr Stone. It is not the only example of it but it is my favourite at the moment as it uses real-world elements from the periodic table and science that can be back up by scientists to tell a compelling story of survival in a world that has zero human infrastructure to speak of. Please don't forget to like and review the podcast and share it with your friends if you enjoyed this episode. See you on the next one.
