HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEENNNN!!
In this episode I am joined my OG babe Hails & we chat about Halloween!
Weāve done an episode in the past where we talked about the origins and old creepy shit before EP but this time we chose three stories and didnāt tell each other what.
Like a spooky show and tell if you will š»
Hails shared 3 creepy stories that she found online that Iād rather wish I didnāt know because Iām surrounded by trees here in BC š & then I share 3 Halloween situations that I want to know your opinion about!!
I donāt need anymore nightmares THANK YOU!!
In this amazing episode I get the chance to pick Lexaās brain about all things Bodybuilding!
A gf sent me Lexaās account because she knew I would love her raw and real takes in the bodybuilding space and she was absolutely correct!
Lexaās approach to being a coach and a bodybuilder herself is so refreshing.
Focusing more on body led coaching, individualized program and a holistic, all around approach when supporting her clients so they have all of the tools available.
We talk about the toxic portions of the bodybuilding world from competition to coaching and of course we share the wins too!
Not just her wins in competing and being a coach but the improvements being seen industry wide too.
There is a lot of bad advice out there but there is equally really good advice and really good, caring coaches out there like Lexa so donāt be afraid of jumping in with a coach, just make sure to find a door as hell one like Lex!
Even if you arenāt needing a coach, her IG is a wealth of knowledge and real talk about bodybuilding and you know we love that over here š š¼
In todayās episode I am joined by a spicy little firecracker who is know as Grill Girl Robyn.
Robyn is known for her unreal grilling skills, her ability to inspire women to get out there and grill and her absolute zest for life šš»
But what people donāt see is what happens behind the success.
The personal trials she has faced while building her empire and the moments that nearly took her down.
Robyn experienced a soul fracture that changed her life and had her searching for answers. She felt like she was going crazy and on a downward spiral until she learned about soul fracturing.
Once she learned more it all clicked and now sheās on a path of sharing this experience so others donāt feel so alone.
She is so raw and real in this episode and Iām eternally grateful my guests come on to share the most vulnerable parts of them so you donāt feel so alone ā¤ļø
When starting her online blog years ago, she had no idea her dreams would become her reality but no one really talks about the trials alone the way and today we change that!
In todayās episode we carry on spreading the word about Botox Injury.
In Part 6 of this series, I am joined by an amazing woman from the UK, Victoria, who barely made it through her final Botox experience.
Botox was something Victoria did semi annually for 25 years. Not once did she experience any side affects or negative outcomes in all those years until just before her 50th birthday.
Due to this fact, she decided to get a little more than her usual spots and go for a little more since she was headed on a trip soon and since she wasnāt informed truly of what happened, she did not see any issue to go ahead with the treatment.
Shortly after her apt, she stating experiencing numbness and blurred vision. Slowly more and more symptoms kept happening to the point she decided to go into the doctors.
In passing she had mentioned she had Botox & luckily this doctor knew immediately she needed to get to the hospital as she was experiencing botulism. The amount of people in the UK that know about this is very rare, so this man truly saved her life.
After 12 hours of being in the hospital, she received the anti toxin and started her recovery path.
A long one that involved being in the hospital for a week, a feeding tube for 3 months and the need for a speech theorist to learn how to talk again among other things.
Luckily Victoria was able to heal enough to still go on her trip for her birthday, she has a new found appreciation for life & was able to educate a lot of people in her area (specially in a medical school nearby) what can happen with Botox.
Iām so grateful these strong women come on the show and share their stories so less people maybe have to go through this or go through it alone ā¤ļø
Everyone who has experienced this is more than happy to help support so make sure to ask the questions, be open to others experiences and always lead with compassion when navigating this space.
Victoriaās body was being poisoned slowly and made it very close to her lungs and heart. Itās a serious thing that can happen and we just want you to be aware. Real stories not rare stories š«¶š»
In this amazing episode I bring a personal and fan fave Hollie G!!
We talked about mental health in season 1 and I thought it would be a great time to jump in and catch up in that area and see how she is.
As we do we catch up on life and her newest adventures like her āComing home to selfā work shop series and amazing crafty workshops too.
Then we dive into her experiences with mental health from postpartum depression and ADHD and the tools she has used to manage.
We talk about how postpartum can look so different depending on the environment and state you are in to her having insane side effects from her medications.
I always have and always will support your choices with your mental health and body butttt please please make sure you know the side effects and take them seriously so you donāt put yourself at further risk ā¤ļø you mamas are famous for pushing it away.
So grateful to have Holls here to celebrate 10 seasons and her like 13th? 14th? Iāve lost count episode.
In this awesome episode, I bring Jamie back on the show to catch up on hows sheās doing with her vaccine injury and politics!!
Ahhhh scary politics.
If youāve been around long enough you know this show has had its history on being political and I actually havenāt really stopped just moved it to YouTube however, I wanted to talk to Jamie about her political experience.
Growing to in the 90s, we didnāt really hear about politics. Maybe some gov shade but not to the point kindergarteners had opinions on politicians š¤£
We both agree that we should be talking politics and we should be having the hard convos but we should not let it ruin relationships.
Weāve both gone from being more progressive and liberal in our 20s to finding ourselves aligning more with conservative values currently.
And we have to wonder if we really changed or did what a lib/con change?
Personally Iām tired of being label so many nasty titles just from the box I checked at voting time and who I feel I align closer with.
Doesnāt mean we hate anyone because we voted a certain way and we get why people say donāt talk about politics if you donāt wanna lose friends BUT WHY??
I get it but I also think we need to do some self reflection, some emotional regulation stop taking everything so personally so we can actually come together.
We are so focused on our own lens and views of the world we often forget others have wildly different views based of their knowledge/experiences and that doesnāt make anyone enemies.
But letās talk about it. Why did we change or did we?! How did we get here and how can we get out?!
Join us in the beautiful conversation about our political awakenings!
In this episode, I bring an absolute fire cracker, Rini, on the show to share her deeply personal journey through breast implant illness, the emotional and physical challenges she faced, and the impact of societal beauty standards on her decisions.
From her initial confidence in her body to the complications that arose from surgery, Rini's story highlights the importance of informed consent and the need for support for women navigating similar experiences.
(TW child loss)
After having her amazing children and the unimaginable loss of one of her children, Rini was in the depts of grieving her child and working through her postpartum body dysmorphia while also being surrounded by perfectly sculpted when she decided to get a mommy make over.
Unknowingly though this would start a very long journey leading to a mastectomy and ongoing challenges of healing, both physically and emotionally, as she seeks to reclaim her identity and advocate for others.
We discuss the complexities of informed consent in surgery, particularly in the context of plastic surgery while exploring the risks associated with these procedures, the societal pressures surrounding beauty standards, and the journey towards self-acceptance and body positivity. Rini shares her personal experiences and insights on aging, the impact of societal expectations on women's self-image, and the importance of community support.
This beautiful conversation emphasizes the need for informed choices, self-reflection, and embracing one's natural beauty while rejecting unrealistic beauty ideals.
In the first guest episode of the season, just like I started my fall season last year I got the honour to sit down again with Torva and dive deeper into her life and experiences with mindest, manifesting, gratitude, resilience, self advocacy ALL THE FREQUENCY AND WOO WOO shit.
We start this visit with a great catch up on her medical journey with keeping cancer away this time compared to last and how they have been adjusting to life in Texas while still advocating for a better life for Canadians.
We get into the differences between doing these practices like gratitude and mindset work like checking off a box versus doing these practices with intention, patience and trust.
Wanting to control the outcome and being so focused on the goal versus the life experience and journey along the way and how that can lead to major burn out was one of my fave parts about this convo!
We also talk about how past traumas can have impacts on our current life through limiting beliefs,
the importance of authenticity over toxic positivity and the very real fear of success.
There are so many incredible nuggets in this episode I cannot list them all!! It was the perfect way to set the tone of the season. Grateful. Intentional. Impactful. š¤š»
HOLY SHIT BATMAN!!
Season 10 is here babes!!
I made it.

As I wrap up season 9, I figured a catch up episode to the Diddy Trial is on deck.
Now if you watch the YouTube show, you would have seen these throughout the last few months but if you havenātā¦
Here is the entire Diddy Trial from my point of view, gathering the highlights from articles and just listening to others views as well to get an idea of what happened.
From jury selection, to the trial and testimonies, to the results, I put all the YouTube updates into one 3 hour episode!!
Here is the breakdown if you want to just catch up on certain parts!
3:44 Jury selection
20:36 Week 1 of trial
47:47 Week 2 of trial
1:13:45 Week 3&4 of trial
1:57:19 Week 5&6 of trial
2:31:08 Week 7 of trial & verdict
2:48:19 After trial thoughts
I guess when I asked in December 2024, if he did or didnāt do it⦠he did but not to the level I thought he would get thatās for sure!
My last guest episode before we wrapped season 9. Holyyyyyy shit.
And of course I have to have my queens back to wrap this season up with me talking shit about dating, being single and relationships!
Jk itās not a spill tea episode itās more like ⦠here is my crazy experience that is similar but different then yours and now Iām healing and grateful for it all kinda of episode.
Me, Brie & Darrian chat about our eras in life and how weāve experienced being single or dating or in a committed relationship throughout.
From our chaotic younger years being messy and crazy in love, to learning the hard lessons about others and ourselves, what toxic behaviour is and red flags to look out for, how weāve become who we are today because of that and what we think you should know if you are either single or happily taken.
Or maybe you are miserably taken and this could help you decide on how to navigate your relationship.
Orrrr maybe you are happily in a relationship and just wanna shout it from the rooftops and some of this validates your excitement being taken.
Itās truly beautiful to see how, even in the darkest relationships, our darkest times, we can blossom into even more with the right amount of healing and self preservation that eventually lead us to our person when the time is right š„°
Join the girlies and I for the final guest episode of le season!
In this incredible mother daughter episode, I chat with long time listeners Adrianna & Shamra about their insane experience with TSW.
Just after a few days of being born, Shamra was given some steroid cream while she waited to see a dermatologist for a strawberry birth mark. Derm says nope, donāt need that⦠stop using it.
Then begin the awful repeated 11 year journey of what they know now to be Topical Steroid Withdrawal.
Unfortunately this wasnāt something they were told could happen, was a thing or even told after years of being in and out of the doctors offices with no true answers. Just more meds and more confusion.
Because these professionals were so adamant about Shamra having eczema, allergies and eventually asthma TSW was not a conversation. They just accepted this was her life.
Until one day⦠mama bear was on fb & she stumbled across a situation that looked eerily similar to Shamraās. In the comments people kept saying TSW.
She then, as we all do, jumped down the rabbit hole and came out with - holy fuckin shit itās the meds that are supposed to be helping her⦠they are making her worse⦠has this always been the case?! Wtf.
Shamra started the incredibly hard journey of weaning off the cream but you can imagine the freak out her entire skin had. Imagine a really hyper addict who hasnāt used for hours and is extremely inconsolable and violent.
Thatās what this poor queens skin does.
I didnāt even cover the mental anguish, the divide illnesses like this can cause at home and within the family and the fact that someone called CPS on Adrianna because of her daughterās condition.
Luckily thanks to her mama, her grandma and her spouse Shamra can live a somewhat normal life but always has to be in high alert to her surroundings in case they cause a flare up.
Incredible powerful duo I had the absolute honour of meeting and I think you should too ā¤ļø
Tomorrow babes!!
One of our most interviews guest Ms Hollie G joins us for her 11th episode 227 on the 27th! (She has a thing for 7s on this show)
Holls has come on the show since day 1 and has shared her journey through so many real and raw things and this episode might just be the rawest yet ā¤ļø
Unfortunately, Hollie had to experience losing her biggest hype person, her rock, her guide in life, her father š¢
If you knew Lorne, you knew this man was bigger than life, you always felt his presence and he was the definition of a dad joke in all the best ways.
And he just got his girls. They were his everything.
So losing him through Holls through every emotion on planet earth.
She shares with us how she has navigated that heavy experience then and still.
Itās hard but itās always wonderful learning more about this wonderful creature ā¤ļø
Launching tomorrow on all podcast platforms!

Episode 226 is live babes!! š„
So excited to have Torva back on the show to catch up on her healing journey and her latest experience with cancer returning & now she fled to the US again plus we get into this Canada vs the US thing that is apparently a thing in 2025.
I wanted to learn more what it was like to grow up in the US to contrast what it was like growing up in Canada and Torva is the perfect person to do that with because sheās lived in both and is also so easy to listen too!
Both of us have love and hate for both countries. We donāt believe we should be fighting and we really see the benefit of unity between the countries.
Although in some ways we are vastly different but a lot of the ways we are the same.
Just really a line that has a bit different rules on one side than the other.
One of the biggest differences to me high level is politics and the military.
Politics seems much more talked about in the states up until the last few years in Canada and now itās just as chaotic š
& I found it rare to meet a military family in Canada whereas it seems much more of a common thing in the states.
Blows my mind still that I was in grade 8 (misspoke stating high school š) while Torva was just landing planes for 9/11 with the military.
Join us for an awesome chat about our countries and the silliness this āfightā is. We have enough to deal with man⦠letās not fight with our siblings like this!
In the final part of my Botox Injury series for the season, I had the honour to interview one of my fave women Angela to share her final experience with Botox.
Like the other guests, Ang had zero idea this type of reaction was a possibility.
Botox is something that is sold to you around every corner, every medical office and the pressure to remain ageless is more viscous than ever before.
More people are doing it on the regular so itās gotta be safe and normal, right?
Ang didnāt really consider doing Botox at first until she started seeing advertisements and the thought process began of wanting to prevent wrinkles.
I often wonder if this thought would be thought if it wasnāt marketed to us. š¤
They really grab us and take hold donāt they š©
But since itās so normalized she thought nothing of it and thought why not!?!
Years went by with no issues.
One December day in 2023 she received 189 units of dysport and went about her life having zero clue what was ahead.
She was a busy mama, wife and photographer so when symptoms started popping up over the first few weeks after her appointment, she chalked it up to being busy or possibly getting sick or being a mama (you guys do this too much!)
But after day 17 things turned drastically worse.
She ended up in the hospital showing signs of strokes and zero answers of what was happening.
She was finally able to get her validation that it was in fact the Botox but unfortunately nothing more than time can help.
Well I mean thereās the anti-toxin but thatās apparently only if you are inches to death š©
Now nearly 18 months out she shares what it was like going through this, being gaslit the entire time and while going through it, she also had to deal with online silly mo-fos denying her experience.
Sheās one of the strongest women Iāve been so blessed to meet along my journey and Iām so proud of the growth and healing sheās done. Not just on her own journey but helping every one else along the way.
Iām so happy to see the tides slowly changing and her spicy spark is coming back stronger than ever š„
Join myself and Ang as she walks me through life before and after her Botox Injury.
In the 4th part of this series, I bring Kaley on to share her experience with Botox and the final appointment that changed her entire life.
She had just stepped away from a career as an OR nurse for nearly a decade and was going to focus on getting married and starting a family.
She had been receiving Botox for the cosmetic side of things and although she did have mild side effects in the past, once she got her masseters done, she was in an entirely different experience.
Immediately she felt relief from her headache but her jaw felt like she was beat up. Calling her injector, she ensured her that it was normal and to carry on.
A few days later things slowly then quickly turned for the worse.
Kaley was struggling to swallow during a djnner a fre days later. She went to sleep and when sne work up she felt like she was extremely heavy, feeking like her arms were bricks, she knew something was wrong.
As it tends to do her symptoms progressed to heart palpitations, chest pains, nasal congestion & a heavy body⦠plus all the mentak anguish to work through.
After been gaslit several times as one does with this journey, she was validated that it was the Botox but she did not qualify for the anti-toxinā¦.
The journey these women have to take is absolutely insane. The follows up to try to figure out whatās wrong just to be told tests are normal and it canāt possibly be the Botox hurts my brain š¤Æ
Iām glad more and more women are feeling empowered to speak up and share their experiences.
Hopefully more women will have more informed consent so they know what they are facing if they choose to inject.
Kaley is on her way to being mended but time is truly all that can heal and I truly hope she comes out of this stronger and feistier than ever!
We just want informed consent babes ā¤ļø
Todayās most amazing episode I am joined by my mama š„°
Something we donāt ever really talk about is invisible illness but itās something that has been apart of our lives for 30 years now.
When my mom turned 28 she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. A chronic pain disease that has zero chance of going away forever and comes with a long list of symptoms.
Symptoms she tries very hard to hide it from the world but sometimes itās down right debilitating.
Things she used to do in her early 20s started slipping away over time. Fatigued kicked in and being a single mom she just assumed at first life was just taking a toll on her.
But after she had my little brother, we got into a bad accident and that took her illness into a whole new level of pain and discomfort that she could no longer work.
Her focus had to be on figuring out how to manage her Fibro while being a mama of 3.
Thank Jesus cuz sheās made it 30 years and is truly the best mom I know. Iām so grateful for all she has taught me and all we have been through together.
Without my motherās strength, I and this show would not be here. Her resilience is unreal. Her desire to live a normal life is strong and we try to fister that whenever we are with her.
To her she thinks sheās a burden but truly itās just to give thanks to her for never giving up and always still giving us 100% no matter how she has felt.
We always try to look at the positives. We are alive. We have each other. We have our family. We have a beautiful country to call home.
Every day is a new day. And I hope those with invisible illness feel seen and heard in this episode ā¤ļø
Todayās episode is a solo episode and I chat all about body movements!
Now look before anyone @s me this subject was hard for me to talk about.
Mainly because growing up I was told I wasnāt allowed to have a positive or negative feeling about my body as I was āskinnyā therefore I did not have any body dysmorphia š ok
And thatās one of the parts of these movements I find are red flags. Telling someone they cannot speak because they have a different body than you.
I worked very hard in this episode to acknowledge that I have one experience and there are many others who will have different ones.
The projection that happens sometimes while talking about body sizes is a little crazy and an area I think we can all self reflect.
āBeauty standardsā exist because we live in them. We blame outside sources for our body hate but at the end of the day, if we keep living in them⦠arenāt we to blame? Perhaps thereās internal work we have to do here before blaming everyone around us for our personal hatred.
Like the body neutrality and positivity movements share, we are so much more than our bodies.
The focus should be on oneās ability, kindness, generosity and character not what size they are.
I am well aware that there is hate no matter what size you are hence the creation of these movements.
I am grateful these movements started to bring light to all areas of body shaming. It should happen ever.
And I think the only time body size should matter is when said person is clearly in medical distress and that is hard to know judging from the outside.
So I think we keep calling out the red flags to all sizes of the scale here as well as celebrate the green flags at the same time.
Which I hope came through in this episode.
We all have commonality here. Lack of self confidence, inner self hatred and at the end of the day, most of us have had comments on our bodies, good and bad. And that can fuck you up!
But we work internally to not react to others opinions because they are just like stink stars. Everyone has one, itās nothing special ā¤ļø
In todayās episode I bring on two electric Canadian podcast babes to share their journey creating their weekly show āGirl Dinnerā.
Sam & Amber knew one day the stars would align and the right time would present itself to launch their comedy podcast to the world!
In 2024 they did just that and starting creating a community of snackers, who like us, share their real and raw thoughts, opinions and experiences but with a comedic twist šš»
Between the both of them they can cover a large demographic with Sam being a mama/content creator/small business owner & Amber being a real estate agent dog mama in central Alberta, these dark humour millennials babes are just what the doctor ordered.
Every Wednesday you can catch them on platforms like Spotify and Apple to give your week the little giggle we all know we need!
I love how their friendship has only been enhanced by this project and how much it has ignited their creative fires in both their professional and personal lives.
Best advice I think we all feel about doing something like a podcast is to be authentic. Be real š do you! And your people will come!
Join myself, Sam and Amber in this super light and funny episode!
With a side of dark humour of course š
