Introducing The Russell Kirk Paleo-Conservative Book Club

Today Max interviews Chris and their friend Nik Storm about a new book club they’re starting that will meet at the Battle Ground Public Library beginning Saturday, April 6th 10:00am til noon. The club will read and discuss classic books that will take readers deeper than the current headlines. The goal is to introduce people to the great ideas of western civilization, and examine the intellectual crisis of the West. And the first book that the club will read is Richard Weaver’s, Ideas Have Consequences. In today’s show Chris and Nik introduce the book, and explain their goals for the club.
