When Does a Hobby Turn Into Escapism? - Episode 64
Okay folks, we got a bit heavier than we expected on the show today, but it's a topic that is near and dear to our hearts. Both of us have personal experience in this topic, and we want to know if you did too.  Have you ever had a favorite hobby or pastime, whether it's TV, movies, books, video games, exercise, literally anything, take a little too much control of your life? Have you ever gone through a time in your life where something is wrong, and you cover it up by isolating, or escaping into a hobby? We're been there, and we think this is a niche, yet important subject to get out into the open. What is the line between engaging in a fun hobby, and using it to isolate from the world around you? We get open and honest about some of our past experiences in this episode, and with that, we want to remind you that we are two human beings behind the microphones here at AOI, and we care about each and every one of you listening. If anything in this episode resonated with you, and you would like to continue the conversation, or confide in someone about what you're going through, then you are welcomes to reach out to us @artofintentionpodcast on Instagram, or you can email us at artofintentionpodcast@gmail.com We post every Tuesday, so we'll see you again next week! xo - Beth and Ayla
