I know I’m not the only creative out there who struggles with anxiety. But I’m pretty sure we can all agree that it sucks. For a long time I felt so alone in my struggles. Like no one understood what I was feeling. I found the more I spoke up about it the more I connected with others just like myself. That’s why I’ve created this space, so you can come hang out while I chat about everything from business to relationships and all the awkward and interesting inbetweens of living a creative life. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll for sure cringe at an inside look of the life of an anxious creative.

Navigating Anxiety, Burnout, and Avoidance: A Candid Conversation on Mental Health and Self-Care
This one’s raw, real, and honestly, a little vulnerable (aka: my favorite way to connect with you). In this episode of The Anxious Creative, I sat down with my friend Alex to dive into the messy, complex world of anxiety, burnout, avoidance, and mental health. We open up about our personal experiences — from autistic burnout, OCD, and trauma triggers, to family dynamics, boundaries, and that terrifying-but-beautiful journey of living authentically.
We talk about the difference between healthy rest and avoidance, why our bodies often know things before our brains do, and how hard (but necessary) it is to give ourselves permission to feel, heal, and say no. If you’ve ever struggled with people-pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling stuck in your own head, this one’s for you.
Oh — and spoiler alert: yes, I overshared (of course). Yes, we got deep. And yes, you’re totally safe here.
