In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart I have overcome the world. John 16:33
You are not you when you are hungry
You are not you when you are offended <3
Why would I ever make 1 thing or 1 person My Life?
Colossians 3:1-5
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God set your mind on things above not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Put to death therefore what is earthly in you”
Is it actually possible to live COMPLETELY free from insecurity?
OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN!!!!
Philippians 3:18 For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
As a Christian- as a followers of Jesus we still have free will. And people get that misunderstood. We could deny Jesus at any point, this is fully our decision. We could sin, We could lie, and yeah God would still love us, that is His character, however, we would be missing out on God’s best for our lives. We choose to not have the identity of being a sinner because we believe that God’s best for our lives does not include sin.
How much IS it our responsibility when it comes to what we believe about our identity in being born again-children of God?
Ephesians 4:20
“But that is not the way you learned Christ! Assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore having put away falsehood let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another”
So many people questioning God’s goodness and faithfulness and saying that his consequences are cruel and the exact same God sacrificed Himself for all of humankind.
And with this freedom, we have been given. This debt paid for all of us. No favorites, everyone is included.
we try to find our identity in other things besides the one who created us AND sacrificed himself for us, why?
We could spend a lifetime trying to figure out our purpose, but what if there is a simple answer in the Word of God? Let's find out!
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
When I go through the Word of God, the Bible, I see countless scriptures on discipline being a good thing, a necessary thing. Why is that?
Hebrews 12:5-11 ESV / 274 helpful votes
And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.” It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
What was the purpose for God creating diligence? The action of it? The character trait as diligent? And what are we missing?
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.
So whoever is with me, it is time to not allow idleness to be our obstacle anymore. So here is the challenge and we are doing this until the end of the year. Replace every single form of idleness with something of value. In other words, replace every single form of laziness with something of true purpose. Let’s start off 2025 differently.
Love you all! See you on Dec 1 - Kylee
Idolatry, what even is it? If there is no worship or sacrifices to a golden statue?
Romans 1:28-32 “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God. God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. envy , murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to their parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
What category do you not trust God?
What is your trust tethered to?
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
So the question is, do you wanna live in the victory that Jesus gave you? Even if it means you can’t hold on to evil and fear and the games you love?
Proverbs 3:7 ESV / 79 helpful votes
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
If it is not inherently God-approved with the signet of His glorious ring “I deem you good” what do you do? Do you find all the things of this world that is fun and then you go to God after and say “hey this is okay, right?”

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.
But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
