Padraic Walsh is a dedicated fathers' rights attorney and founder of *The Legal Dad*. After going through his own contentious divorce and custody battle, Padraic realized the need for empathetic legal guidance specifically for fathers. His practice focuses on protecting fathers' rights in family law matters, from paternity to custody disputes. Driven by personal experience, he combines compassion with legal expertise, ensuring clients feel supported through complex family law issues. Raised in Ireland, Padraic relocated to the United States at 17. Initially, he worked in construction, completing a carpenters apprenticeship and working in the field for 15 years. His legal career began when he encountered challenges accessing his own children, inspiring his mission to advocate for fathers facing similar struggles. Research shows that children unfairly kept from one of their parents can suffer from generational trauma, which may affect their own relationships later in life. Children raised in fatherless households are more likely to experience difficulties, including being kept from their own children as adults. *The Legal Dad* is committed to ending this cycle of generational trauma by representing fathers and advocating for a child’s right to have meaningful access to both parents. Through tireless advocacy in the courts, Padraic ensures that both the father’s and child’s best interests are prioritized, fostering healthier futures for families.
