This podcast episode argues that human will and effort, no matter how intense or diligent, cannot force every desired outcome, as some things are "locked" or "sealed for a time". Understanding that certain answers or situations will only be revealed at their appointed time, beyond human control, liberates individuals from the exhaustive struggle to bend circumstances to their will. This is most prevalent with scientific or academic discoveries, inventions and entrepreneurship.
I'm not saying do not work towards your goals. I'm just saying, have buffers for the timing of events.

One of the coming days...passion will drain, then it'll no longer be because you're charged to do it, it'll be because you choose to do it; it won't be because you love doing it, but because you have to do it.
Hope it helps.
