The 90s’ Rewind Report
S02E16: Halloween Film Franchise Multiverse Explained
On this episode of The 90s Rewind Report, Michael Reagan and Nate Lane take a stab at unraveling one of horror’s most confusing—but fascinating—franchises: Halloween. From the 1978 original that redefined slasher cinema to the endless reboots, sequels, and multiverse timelines that followed, the guys break down how Halloween splintered into multiple realities. They explore the three (or four, depending who you ask) major timelines, the Rob Zombie reimagining that divided fans, and Halloween III: Season of the Witch—the bizarre standalone entry that ditched Michael Myers altogether in favor of killer masks and cult conspiracies. We’re sorting out Halloween’s tangled timelines once and for all.  So whether you’re a casual fan trying to make sense of it all or a horror buff who’s seen every timeline reset, this episode carves through the chaos with humor, nostalgia, and plenty of pumpkin spice. 🎃

S02E15: Halloween in the 90s
On this episode of The 90s Rewind Report, hosts Michael & Nate proudly embrace their inner “back in my day” energy for a trip down memory lane. "Halloween Back in Our Day..." Remember those 1990s Halloweens when costumes came from the drugstore aisle, candy trading was serious business, and you actually had to walk door-to-door for your sugar haul? The guys compare old-school Halloweens of the ’90s to the modern-day trunk-or-treat era — poking fun at how convenience has replaced chaos, and how somewhere along the way, spooky got a little too safe. Grab your plastic pumpkin pail and join in as they prove that sometimes, the old ways really were the best (or at least, the stickiest). 🎃

Minisode: So You Want To Start A Podcast?
This week’s episode wasn’t exactly what Michael & Nate had planned. We were finally ready to unleash a spooky-season kickoff we first recorded back in Season 1—but after a year of delays, tech issues, and more do-overs than a haunted VHS tape, the episode just would not cooperate. At this point, we’re convinced it’s cursed. 👻 So instead, host Michael Reagan thought it was the perfect time to turn the mic toward our listeners who might be thinking of starting a podcast themselves. After two seasons, 40 episodes, and plenty of lessons learned the hard way, Michael is sharing everything he has picked up along his own podcast journey—the good, the bad, and the “did that file really just delete itself?” moments.

S02E04: Pete & Pete "Grounded For Life" Rewatch
In this episode of the 90s Rewind Report, hosts Michael Reagan, Nate Lane, and Brayden Decker rewatch The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Season 2, Episode 2: “Grounded for Life.” which originally aired on Nickelodeon September 4, 1994. It couldn’t come at a worse time—just before the long-standing lawn rivalry with neighbor Mr. Lerdner comes to a head. The stakes? The loser has to mow both lawns all summer. So Little Pete, naturally, starts plotting his great escape. Think Shawshank Redemption, but with more crabgrass. His deadline? Independence Day.
