How can you practice witchcraft when you live with people who are against it? In this episode, I go over several things you can do that are completely witchy, but very low-key.
Also, made a mistake when I was talking about putting things in your mini-alter to represent the Elements. I said Earth twice and missed Fire. Fire can be any crystal or stone that has a red or orange color to it, or candles, or even a piece of charcoal.
Trigger warning: brief mention of childhood sexual abuse
We've all heard "Do your shadow work!!" from every source imaginable, but what even is shadow work and how do you do it? It took me YEARS to actually understand what it means, so this is my attempt to explain it in a way that might help someone else get there faster.
This is just a short episode to let you know what's going on with me, but first, I had to tell you how my office ghost tried to kill me right before I recorded this. The rest of the episode is about how my brain is trying to kill me. Fun stuff all around!
First, THANK YOU to the person who commented and let me know my first attempt at this episode was the unedited version. I deleted the episode so fast that I didn't get your name, but good looking out!
Most people are multi-faceted enough that they don't fit into one specific type of witch, but it can still be fun talk about them. Realizing you could fit in a certain type can also give you new avenues to explore or focus that hadn't occurred to you before. Today's episode is about Hearth Witches, Kitchen Witches, and Green Witches.
It's been EIGHT MONTHS since I did an episode! But I'm back and grabbing hold of my witchy ways with both fists. I was so not prepared for any of the things I was dealing with, so today's episode is all about how you can be more prepared to get through rough times by using your witchy toolset.
Let's clarify the difference between casting a circle for a ritual versus a spell, and go into detail about what a ritual actually is and what it might include. Of course, as always in witchcraft, the real answer is there is no real answer. Hopefully this episode can at least give you some ideas about how you might define these things for yourself.
This episode is all about things you can do when you're traveling to stay connected to your practice.
It's not a practice if you're not practicing, so let's talk about how to bring in weekday correspondences to strengthen your connection to magic and witchcraft every day.
The Gateway Experience is a series of tapes used to learn how to access altered consciousness in order to communicate with your higher self, use energy to heal your body or emotional state, access the universal consciousness, project thought holograms, and even access the past and future by entering the infinite energy dimension. In the 1980's, the CIA participated in the Gateway Experience at The Monroe Institute so they could analyze the potential for spying by using out of body experiences (OBE) and whether other countries might use OBEs to spy against us. They also analyzed the potential impact to society, and therefore national security, if this method essentially disproved the existence of God.
For the next few episodes, I'll go over my experiences so far using the Gateway Process, but I also want to tell you about all the things the declassified CIA document talks about. To me, it provides a scientific explanation of magic and how I believe it works. It's helped to re-energize my connection to the magical realm and I hope that learning about that will help anyone else who's struggling between "faith" and science. So I'm using the CIA document to understand it all, and the tapes to sort of hack my own brain.Oh and PS -- I know I pronounced "synapse" as "synopse" and that the word I was looking for there was "neuron" but I had a brain-cramp...
The one question I'm asked the most is how to find a witchy community/coven/circle/study group. I've avoided it until now because it's so difficult to answer, but in this episode I'll tell you about the ways I know to find a group, plus a few things to watch out for before you join one.
It happens to the best (and the worst!) of us. Life gets in the way and the next thing you know, you haven't done anything witchy in months and you feel like any attempts to perform magic would fall flat. So what do you do when you want to pick it back up? How do you find that little silver thread of magic in your everyday life again?
This type of episode would normally be a subscription episode, but I wanted to give everyone the chance to see what they're like. Sort of a free trial. I'm glad I did because this reading is telling you to keep your eyes out for some coming change, and how it might affect you. If this resonates with you or if you like what you hear, be sure to subscribe to get access to more. I make sure to describe the deck I'm using, each card I pull, and how to interpret each card. That way, even if the reading doesn't really apply to you specifically, you can at least learn more about how to read them and how to figure out what they mean together. Be sure to find the question at the bottom of the episode screen to tell me about your witchy experiences!
This episode takes the mystery out of the mysterious, brings new life to old dirt, and necromances the necromancers! Just kidding. But we do talk about it, from the common sense mundane rules to some advice about precautions to take, to ways to use graveyard magic in your own practice. I even had a really good idea at the end about other ways to use graveyard magic, so be sure to stick around for that part.

Intuition is one of the most important parts of witchcraft, so taking the time and putting in the effort to strengthen it is one of the most important things you can do to become a stronger witch. This episode is all about how to hear or feel your intuition, and how to make it stronger.
This episode is for mature listeners, of course. It isn't graphic, but I do go into a little detail that may not be appropriate for some listeners. By its very nature, sex involves a lot of energy and power. You can harness that and use it magically in a few different ways.

You can use the magic associated with colors in spells or in your every day life to bring that magic to the mundane. In this episode I go over ways to do that and the generally accepted definitions of the magic each color holds, as well as incorporating color and Elemental magic.

** Edit ** I've set up subscription only episodes! Only $0.99 per month for a tarot reading you can apply to your coming month. I may do more than one episode each month, but will promise at least one. I'll not only do the reading, but explain each card's meaning and then explain how they relate to each other and what the overall meaning of the reading is.
Hey witches! In this episode we talk about Winter Solstice and loads of other things, most of it being pretty random. I also share a couple of ways magic has been proven real to me this year, and update a little on what's been going on in my life.
