The Music Industry has existed for ages. Its sparked relationship between the artist and the record label that can be described as "ebb's and flows". From the perspective of the average person it seems like all its meant to be, you are able to create art that you are paid currency for. Some artists such as Chance the Rapper preach that the music industry isn't a smart decision and encourage independent artistry.
