Praveena Fernes, a Fulbright Scholar and a current Post-Grad student at SOAS, London, UK shares her knowledge and experience from research tools and storytelling within communities from New Orleans, LO,USA to Northeast Thailand Region of Isaan. We uncover her journey and the power of sharing visual stories and data.
We speak about her project 'Visible Ghosts' where she habituated her citizen science research tools and shown the power of object based storytelling and visual maps within the Rasi Salai community. The Rasi Salai village was deeply affected due to a failed government project that affected their local dam and in result endured the loss of biodiversity, natural resources, and jobs.
