🎙️ **Latest Podcast Insights on ACES - Adverse Childhood Experiences** 🌟
In our recent episode (No. 29) with Dr. Victorieus, we dived deep into the pressing issue of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). Notably, the CDC now recognizes bullying as an ACE, shedding light on its profound impact on our children.
Resilience emerged as the paramount tool to help young minds navigate the tumultuous waters of childhood trauma, with a specific focus on challenges like bullying.
However, a stark reality surfaced – the shortage of mental health counselors in schools. Children bring their problems to school, but the resources to address them are lacking. - It's a call to action for parents to ensure a safe home environment, free from issues like parental conflicts, abuse, emotional neglect, and authoritarian parenting.
Why does this matter? Because children, even subconsciously, carry the scars into their adult lives, influencing their relationships. The broken system compounds the issue – schools lack funding and fail to provide essential life skills classes as preventative measures.
The call is clear: Parents, it's time to step up. Get involved in your child's life skills training and education. The system might be flawed, but change begins at home.
Creating awareness is the first step. Engage with your communities, be the voice for those who need it. Let's address the void in extracurricular activities for our youth, offering positive alternatives to keep them away from trouble.
It's time for action, awareness, and advocacy. Share your thoughts, join the conversation, and let's pave the way for a brighter, healthier future for our children.

It is not a secret that "Sexism" still exist. If you're not sure what sexism is, sexism as “an attitude of prejudice or discriminatory behavior based on the supposed inferiority or difference of women as a group” and in Latin culture the concept of "Machismo" is practiced more. Machismo is defined as a set of beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours that demonstrate the superiority of men over women in various areas.
Some are women’s inferiority and weakness compared to men, women’s relegation to roles of wife and homemaker, and sexual power that women possess that makes them dangerous for men.
Luis began to notice these differences not only in his home but in school, his community, and began to see how it was even affecting his love relationships, and that's what led him to his life's purpose, which is to eradicate machismo, and to help youth, and men regulate their emotions, have healthy relationships, and find meaning in their life.
