Welcome to the fourth episode of Season 2 at Tech-week! (#E4S2)
Today, in this episode, we discussed the arms race dynamic of technological competition and how it relates to our previous historical examples of harmful competition leading to unintended consequences.
In recent years, Tech companies have been investing heavily in building new data centers, training more AI model, and releasing ever-evolving new versions of their products. But what they don't consider enough, we believe, is that their vicious competition might harm their own goals and create a game theoretical situation where everyone of us might end up worse off.
We talked about historical examples in biotech, the definition of failure according to us, and potential solutions and mitigation ideas for the future.
