Welcome to the first Episode of Season 2 in Techweek!
In this season, we will discuss more about technical explanations, how systems work in simpler terms, inner workings, different principles and definitions!
This was our very first session in English. We tried our best to explain what happened over our conversation with ChatGPT based on the following prompt:
"Is it true that you are thinking in a different way than normal human mind works? I read that you are thinking with vectors and their distances encoded to meanings of words in multidimensional space? How can you explain this?".
This conversation touched upon many fascinating topics such as how meanings of our daily used words can be mapped onto space, how obscure Turkish thistle language works in Trabzon mountains, 'multidimensional vector space' way of reasoning of Large Language Models, and relationship between music theory and human languages.
It was a brain explosion for us! However, quite amazing discussion.
PS: It is important to note that we are not discovering something new. This discussion is solely the reflection of our interpretations. ChatGPT and other Large Language Models have been reported to successfully making us, humans think that we are doing something scientifically important by just conversing with them. However, in these highly technical subjects, it is essential to respect scientific, academic discovery and the efforts of professionals in this field.
What do you think? Share with us in the comments section. We have recently started to publish our episodes on YouTube as well. Check them out here:
