Today's guest is the amazing Annie Lindmark.
She works with funding and innovation at Swedens innovation agency, Vinnova. She focuses on emerging technology and enabling innovation that can make a positive impact on the world and contributing to sustainable growth. She is an ecosystem builder for international collaboration around innovation and research in Europe and beyond, currently with focus on Nordic innovation house in Silicon Valley and is representing Sweden in the Nordic Innovation task force for diversity. She is also responsible for the Swedish governmental mission around Deeptech.
Annie has also co-founded the network W.Empowerment and the personal development company One Empowerment, that create tools to help people live a more meaningful life through conversations.
In this episode we talk about how you can apply for different grants from Vinnova. We also talk about speculative design and thinking of future needs of the society. We discuss who is and can be an entrepreneur and the need for diversity. We also talk about the culture in Silicon Valley to build fast and break things and why entrepreneurs need to think before they break things that cannot be repaired. We cover the current climate in the tech industry with all the layoffs from big tech companies and we do a comparison between the Swedish and Silicon Valley startup ecosystems.
Hope you enjoy the episode and if it speaks to you it would mean a lot to me if you would follow the show, give it a nice review and share it with your friends.
See you next week and until then hustle smarter, not harder!
xoxo Ivana
