After seven years the Teal Report podcast is coming to a close as my entire Hockey Pack joins me as I go out with a bang...
There's so much to come in our 75 minute finale as we go behind the idea of Teal Report while looking back on what I loved and sharing wonderful memories over the years
While calling time was tough at the end of the day it's the right thing for me and I can't thank you all for listening over the last seven years
Thank You and Goodbye!!!
While the Sharks gave us another miserable season the Barracuda gave us some much needed light as they got a San Jose team back into the playoffs for the first time since 2019
In this bonus episode we will recap every single playoff game for our San Jose Barracuda as well as looking at how the entire playoff picture went down

Last year the spotlight was on San Jose as the first big major event to be held at Tech CU Arena took place as the AHL held its all star weekend at the Bay Area and it was a spectacular event that showed just how far San Jose has come since the Barracuda's arrival
It's the Season 7 finale and we have a lot to get through as we enter the final countdown to our last episode in September
We start with my thoughts on what has been another miserable season for the San Jose Sharks including a deep dive into our stats for the 2024/25 season
Next up we look at how well I did at predicting how our Pacific Division rivals would fare and if I got any right this year
Then we reminiscw on Season 7 as a whole in what has been a bumper final season that has kept me on guard throughout the season
Finally we preview what's to come in our final ever episode which will drop in your feeds in September right before the preseason begins

I am literally speechless as I had no idea that our beloved SJ Sharkie was once again up for consideration for being inducted to the Mascot Hall of Fame never mind him actually being voted into the 2025 Class
I am over the moon for him as Sharkie is the most hardest working fish in all of sport and it was about time he got the recognition he deserves and I think the Sharks organisation needs to celebrate big style
Here's how I found out the news - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4k_zM2fhjQHere's Sharkie being revealed on Good Morning America - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjvtxTqplgURead the article here - https://www.nhl.com/sharks/news/s-j-sharkie-named-to-the-mascot-hall-of-fame
Ut's an emotional epiosde of Teal Report as for one last time I give my thoughts and opinions on the San Jose Sharks as the final month of the regular season saw us taking on teams who all had playoff implications on the line
Speaking of playoffs we preview the first round for the Western Conference and make that bold prediction for who will represent us in the Finals this June
The final trip to Cuda Corner sees us recap a month where playoff hockey would officially return to the Bay Area for the first time in six years as the Barracuda clinched their spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs

After sharing The Tank with their big brothers for seven years the time had finally come for the grand opening of Tech CU Arena and for the Barracuda to have their own place to call home
It was an exteremely emotional night as the Henderson Silver Knights had the honour of being the first victims to fall to the Deep
With Wicked Part 2 coming out later this year I couldn't resist the title while I still can as the San Jose Sharks had one of their massive homestands to date which saw them take down multiple Original Six teams and denting playoff hopes for some
Over in Cuda Corner things get tight in the division as the Barracuda remain very much in the hunt to clinch that first playoff berth since 2019
Also this month we recap everything that happened in the week of the Trade Deadline which provide a lot of shocks which I'm pleased to say this year did not come from Teal Town

Thanks to the 4 Nations this month's episode is going to feel a little different than usual...
First up we go through all of the month's fixtures as the Sharks faced off against most of the canadian teams with very mixed results and fortunes
After that we will head over to Cuda Corner whjch saw a lack of form from the team as some silly mistakes cost dearly as the Barracuda are still in the mix for the playoffs but only just

After seven incredible years I have made the very difficult decision to bring the Teal Report podcast to a close at the end of our current season
This was not an easy decision and was not made lightly but I feel that I have achieved all I want to do from this show and with my hockey priorities changing the time has come to move on
I am going to miss this show so much and would like to thank all of you for listening over the years as I couldn't have done it without you
Back in 2022 a huge milestone was reached as the Barracuda would officially fly the nest into their own home which they would call Tech CU Arena, I remember this moment very well and even watched the live stream of the grand opening
In 2021 the Pacific Division were the only ones who eelcted to hold a playoffs to determine their division champion which saw all teams given the chance to fight for the crown however the Play In didn't feel thrilling as it felt dairly obvious who was going to play Henderson in the Semi Finals
While in terms of the fixtures the start of the new year wasn't good but at least us Sharks fans had at least one good thing to smile about as our beloved Brodie Brazil is back where he belongs
Over on Cuda Corner the new year saw the Cuda have to handle the pressure as several of our division rivals are starting to find their form as well as the first ever visit to Tech CU Arena from the Toronto Marlies
And PuckStop returns for one last time featuring stories from our Pacific Division rivals Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings

With the NHL 4 Nations Face Off literally round the corner and with the NHL planning a two week break in the regular season to allow this one of a kind event to go ahead disruption is not too far ahead
On this emergency show we explain how the 4 Nations is going to disrrupt Teal Report and how we plan to handle the disrruption that will be caused to our beloved show
We will also tell you our plans on how we're going to cover the 4 Nations Face Off as whilst I'm not a fan of the whole thing I have backed a horse in Connor McDavid & Team Canada
Despite winning their division the Barracuda felt the heat in the 2017 Division Semifinals when they went the full distance against fellow North Califorina rivals the Stockton Heat in what remains the best run seen in the Reef
The final month of the calendar year 2024 was not great for the Sharks with only two wins and a lot of agony especially as the new kids on the block are proving to be deadly killers
Over at Cuda Corner there wasn't much variety as I lost count of the amount of times we faced Coachella Valley as the script in that series has completely fllipped in our favour despite the month being a mixed bag
This month's edition of PuckStop features stories from the Winter Classic, the Ottawa Charge and the Anaheim Ducks

In their second season the San Jose Barracuda were crowned the Kings of the Pacific winning their first division title in franchise history and the second team to do it in the division's short history, with the banner proudly hanging high in Tech CU Arena
This month was an emotional month for all of us in Teal Town as Joe Thornton's number was raised to the rafters the second Shark to recieve this honour as we hosted the team he faced in teal for the very first time, but that wasn't the only emotional moment of the month as future starting netminder Yaroslav Askerov made his Sharks debut
Over on Cuda Corner it was littered with back to backs but they managed these situations a lot better in years past as they also faced the Toronto Marlies for the very first time
This month's PuckStop features stories from the Nashville Predators and both the Boston Bruins & St.Louis Blues side of November's biggest news story
Like SJ Sharkie the San Jose Barracuda wouldn't be the same without their mascot Frenzy who has been the best little brother we could wish for who like his older sibling made his debut a few months after the team arrived in town
We've been waiting all summer for Macklin Celebrini to enter the National Hockey League ad oh my did he make waves getting his first goal, points and 1st Star of the Game all Opening Night, not even Connor Bedard managed that
This first month of the campaign has shown some promise as for most of the games they refused to back down and roll over fighting for ever ypoint they could grab
Over at Cuda Corner and with Yaroslav Askerov now in Teal they had an outstanding first month as they only lost one game in the start of their tenth anniversary
And we open the PuckStop for the very first time and this month we have stories from the Seattle Kraken, Florida Panthers and Utah HC
