Tune into part 2 of my interview with Awar as we continue our conversation.
The way I've been sitting on this episode for some time, I'm so excited to have my friend Awar on the podcast this week.
She truly is the ultimate baddie, her energy is felt in every room she enters, I've always admired the way she holds herself and I'm obsessed with our conversation.
Our conversation flowed so much that I had to turn this into two episodes.
Forever grateful to you Awar for coming on the podcast and will cherish this conversation always.
So my loves enjoy.

The past two weeks, I’ve been in full fashion week mode thanks to Aus Fashion Week. This topic feels especially fun to talk about because it’s my fifth year attending! A lot changed this year, so let’s take a step back and reflect on the entire experience.
Enjoy.

I'm joined by the beautiful Sara from Ssense of Self. I first met Sara last year during a challenging period in my life when I was seeking help for energetic blockages. I was immediately drawn to her work and deeply curious about her practice as an energy healer, especially her holistic approach to the mind-body connection.
Feeling incredibly grateful for this conversation, we talk about spirituality, healing, and the defining moments that have shaped who we are today.
Thank you so much, Sara, for joining me on the podcast.

I've been wanting to talk about heartbreak for a while. It's something I've experienced intimately, and through personal relationships, I've had endless conversations about this strange sensation that can leave you feeling completely out of control. While I don't land on a final answer for why we experience heartbreak, I do share my own experiences with it and some of the ways I've learned to heal. I hope you enjoy.

I had an experience last year that made me realise my relationship with my hair as a black woman was more complex than I thought. Though some moments of this episode are clunky as I try and find the words to share my experience, I hope you're able to listen to this episode with openness.

A long time in the making, I’ve always been in awe of Yasmin and I'm so grateful to finally have her on the podcast. Photographer, Director, Model, Personality and a Sagittarius Queen, Yasmin wears many hats. We jump straight into the conversation without a moment to spare. From chatting about Intuition to heritage, the conversation takes many forms as we reflect on working in the social media space, and the fear of trying and what community means to us. This conversation brings me so much joy. Enjoy x

We are so back baby.
I’ve been having the scaries about my internet avatar lately and the fear of being perceived. Although not a new phenomenon, in this episode we dissect whether it’s possible to protect our peace on socials whilst navigating this new age technology that is rapidly taking over every vein of our lives. I must say I haven’t come close to figuring it out but lets chat and see what we discover.

We are finally wrapping up season 2 of the podcast.
A very chatty episode, it may not seem like it on socials but I've been hibernating and it feels like I'm coming out of my cocoon to ponder on different realisation of 2024 thus far. From saying goodbye to parts of myself, to losing touch with friends, anxiety and transitional periods. It's all felt like a whirlwind. But grab a seat and lets chat through it all.
Thank you to everyone who's listened to the Taylu Podcast. Incredibly excited for what's to come in season 3.
Until then sending all my love.

I've been saying it for sometime that I'm finishing up season 2 of the podcast but in true Cynthia fashion the episodes have kept going. But once again (this time for real), this is the second last episode of season and 2 and the last guest of the season.
I couldn't be more grateful to have Manahou on the pod. She is someone I've admired for years and anyone who has been in her presence can attest for her magnetic energy. We touch on a range of topics in this episode, from finding our way in the fashion industry, to dissecting what it even means to 'find yourself' and making way for other pursuits, heritage and much more. Get comfy as we speak openly about life at the moment.

In this weeks episode I sit with my dear friend Duc to just simply chat.
Huddled in the corner at parties, I would always find myself having diverse discussions with Duc and in turn our friendship blossomed.
From chatting about being loners when we were growing up, to our thoughts on AI and whether or not we would install chips in our brains, this conversation takes many turns, pauses and laughs. I'm always inspired by Duc's curiosity and openness to this world and so grateful to have had him on the pod. Enjoy my loves.

Hey My loves,
In this weeks episode I speak about my personal experience dating in Australia as a black woman. I've felt hesitant speaking about dating on a public forum as we're ever evolving as humans. However, I've found by hearing other peoples experiences has helped me feel more seen. I'm moving towards vulnerability and exploring experiences that have impacted me.
Enjoy!

This episode was recorded back in February of 2024, days before Liam was about to embark on a new chapter in London Town. Filled with laughter, vulnerability and that ease you get when chatting to friends, our conversation feels very coming of age. When one chapter closes we may as well reflect on the things that brought us to this point. We explore moving to a new city, coming into ourselves, cliques and so much more.
I've split our chat into two episodes because we spoke for two hours straight.
Hope you enjoy. xx
