We’re in the midst of Scorpio season—and transformation is in the air.
In this week’s episode of Tarot with Bonnie and Peter, we explore the deep, powerful undercurrents of Scorpio energy. Known for its intensity, mystery, and capacity for rebirth, Scorpio season invites us to dig beneath the surface, face the truth, and let go of what no longer serves. It’s about reclaiming our power, even if that means shedding a few layers in the process.
We each pulled cards to explore how these themes are showing up in our own lives—and how they might resonate for you.
Bonnie’s Questions & Pulls:
Peter’s Questions & Pulls:
As always, the synchronicities between our readings were eerie and affirming. We discuss how Scorpio’s archetypal energy (often linked to Death in the tarot) is about releasing the outdated versions of ourselves to make space for something more aligned and alive.
If you’ve been feeling the urge to retreat, reflect, or rise up in a new way, this episode will meet you there. And if you’re simply curious about how to work with the energy of the season—through tarot, journaling, or self-inquiry—you’ll walk away with simple questions and insights to guide your own process.

In this episode, we each share a Halloween-inspired spread designed to stir the senses and speak to the parts of ourselves that are often quietly mysterious.
Peter's Spread: Behind the Veil
Peter brings his own mystical lens with Behind the Veil, a spread that peers into the unseen. It’s a space to explore hidden wisdom, inner knowing, and what’s becoming clearer just beyond the surface of your awareness.
Bonnie's Spread: Exploring Your Hidden Fear
This 3-card spread is a gentle yet powerful tool for connecting with the part of you that’s been hiding just beneath the surface.
We each pulled cards from our spreads and shared our real-time reflections, weaving in insights for the collective and offering a taste of how these layouts can support personal transformation—especially during this liminal, magical season.
Whether you’re celebrating Halloween, Samhain, or simply feeling the seasonal shift, these spreads are an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and trust what your cards are whispering.

What do you need to let go of—and what are you ready to welcome in?
In this episode of Tarot with Bonnie and Peter, we explore the sacred rhythm of the moon and how you can work with its cycles for clarity, release, and renewal. We begin by reflecting on the recent Full Moon in Aries, with its fiery energy and connection to the Emperor card in the tarot.
To deepen the conversation, we each pulled a tarot card to explore what we personally needed to release under this full moon—and shared the insights that came forward for us. It was reflective and, as tarot tends to be, surprisingly affirming.
Then we shift into the gentle, harmonizing energy of the New Moon in Libra, guided by the energy of the Justice card. Once again, we each pulled a card—this time asking: What am I ready to embrace or initiate? We dive into what those cards revealed and what they’re encouraging us to call in.
Throughout the episode, we share simple, supportive practices you can try during both the full and new moon—and, of course, ways to use tarot as a trusted companion in your lunar rituals.
At the heart of it all is this reminder: each moon cycle offers a chance to check in, clear out, and choose again—with intention.

We all have our tarot deck dealbreakers.
You know the feeling—you’re flipping through a deck, curious and excited… and then you see it. A card that stops you in your tracks—for better or worse. Sometimes it only takes one card to make us fall in love... or put the deck right back on the shelf.
In this episode of Tarot with Bonnie and Peter, we talk about the cards that speak to us, the ones that feel off, and how just one card can shift the whole vibe of a deck. But it’s not just about single cards—we also talk about the backs (can you tell if it’s reversed?), the titles (or lack of them), themed decks, and how the artwork has to feel right for us to actually use the deck in our practice.
If you love collecting tarot decks, or you’re shopping for something new, you don’t want to miss this episode.
And as always, we wrap the episode by each pulling a card and giving our personal insights into its meaning.
We hope this one gets you thinking about what you truly want from your decks—and your practice.

What happens when tarot cards show up upside down? In this week’s episode, we turn the deck on its head—literally—and explore one of tarot’s most debated topics: Should you read reversals?
Some readers swear by them. Others ignore them entirely. We’re here to unpack both perspectives, share how we personally work with reversals, and offer some guidance for interpreting them in meaningful, intuitive ways.
We take a balanced look at both approaches and share how our own relationships with reversals have evolved over time.
We also share some creative and intuitive ways to work with reversals—seeing them not as "bad" or "wrong," but as invitations to pause, reflect, and listen more closely.
And of course, we wrap the episode the way we always do—by each pulling a card. But this time, we interpret them reversed. Tune in to hear how Bonnie and Peter approach their cards from two different angles, revealing just how rich and varied reversal work can be.

What do you get when a wide-eyed wanderer and a truth-teller walk into a dinner party? The final episode of our Dinner with the Majors series—and it’s full of surprises.
In this final chapter, we go out with a bang—and a few emotional curveballs. Peter steps into the energy of The Fool, and reminds us that sometimes you just have to leap, trust, and enjoy the ride. (Yes, even if you're not sure where it’s going.) Bonnie channels Justice, diving into self-honesty, and how our outer world is a reflection of our inner world.
As always, we answer a mix of fun and contemplative questions as if we are the cards themselves, like:
This episode takes some unexpected turns—ranging from air balloons to tightropes, surf and turf to tour guides and train tickets—and somehow lands exactly where it needs to. With nods to Stand By Me and Shawshank Redemption this conversation tugs at the heartstrings and asks big questions about who we are and how we live. It’s real, raw and magical.
Whether you’ve followed this series from The Magician to The World or you’re jumping in now, this one’s not to be missed.

What do you get when one archetype thrives in mystery and the other reminds us that change is the only constant?
In this episode of our continuing series Dinner with the Majors, Peter steps into the elusive energy of The Moon, while Bonnie channels the ever-shifting force of The Wheel of Fortune. Together, we explore how both archetypes invite us to let go of certainty and meet life as it is—unpredictable, confusing, and sometimes surprisingly magical.
As always, we each pull a Major Arcana card and speak from its perspective, responding to a range of fun and meaningful questions along the way.
We ask questions like:
Peter (as The Moon) reflects on how this archetype invites us to navigate uncertainty by tuning in rather than figuring out. With a nod to the movie Pan’s Labyrinth and moonlit shores on a remote Hawaiian beach, he reminds us that when the path isn’t clear, intuition becomes the guide.
Bonnie (as The Wheel of Fortune) shares how releasing control often opens doors we didn’t even know were there. She takes us to a trip to Disney Paris and what it would be like to work at a glamorous casino in Monaco. She reminds us that destiny works best when we stop trying to micromanage it.
This episode is about navigating mystery, trusting the timing, and letting life surprise you.

What happens when you sit down to dinner with two archetypes that seem like opposites—one clearing space, the other creating structure?
In this week’s Dinner with the Majors, we explore themes of release, endings and the sacred emptiness that makes way for new beginnings in the Death card and the power of boundaries, routines and building solid foundations that help us grow with The Emperor.
We answer a mix of playful and profound questions as if we are the cards themselves, like:
Peter (as Death) reflects on wandering through places like Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, the art of letting go, and even what it might mean to be a funeral director for a day. Bonnie (as The Emperor) brings us to Versailles, considers a day in the life as a game warden with clear rules and respect for boundaries, and explores how routines and structure can actually be freeing.
This episode is a conversation about endings and beginnings—the release that makes space for growth and the steady foundations we build when we know our values. Along the way, we nod to songs like I’ll Stand by You and It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine), reminders that change can feel both supported and surprisingly freeing.

You’ll ‘walk’ away from each session with practical and active ways to combine the power of each zodiac season with the 78 cards of the Tarot.
This week’s Dinner with the Majors brings two very different archetypes to the table: the untamed energy of The Devil and the deep, intuitive knowing of The High Priestess.
Peter pulls The Devil and leans all the way in—talking about the art of indulgence, letting go of self-imposed pressure, and yes, booking a trip to Vegas (obviously)!!! Bonnie pulls The High Priestess and invites us into the quiet—speaking to the power of deep listening, reconnecting with the wisdom that lives within us all and travelling to the ancient Temple of Delphi.
Together, we explore questions like:
From brothy bowls of pho and Bella Swan's mysterious magnetism to dark thrillers and guitar solos, this episode is full of aha moments, honest reflections, and a few unexpected laughs. The High Priestess reminds us to go inward. The Devil reminds us it’s okay to let go sometimes. Together? They offer balance.

What happens when tradition meets quiet courage, and both stay for dinner?
In this week’s Dinner with the Majors episode, Peter channels the sacred presence of The Hierophant, while Bonnie steps into the quiet resilience of Strength. As always, we take turns answering a series of personal and reflective questions as if we are the cards themselves—exploring the archetypes through voice, insight, and story.
Some of the questions we explore include:
Peter (as The Hierophant) speaks to finding the sacred in ordinary moments and leaning into ritual, with a nod to Dead Poets Society, Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah, and a beautifully fixed tasting menu. Bonnie (as Strength) shares reflections on reclaiming your power, practicing compassion for the self, and trusting your quiet courage, with support from The Hunger Games, Sia’s Unstoppable, and a pilgrimage to the Camino.
This episode invites you to consider where you seek wisdom, and how strength might look softer, quieter, and more personal than you think.

What do ‘Practical Magic’, Stonehenge, and a collapsing foundation have in common? Find out in this week’s tarot dinner conversation.
In this episode of our Dinner with the Majors series, we each pull a Major Arcana card and step fully into its energy—answering questions as if we are the archetype. Peter takes on the role of The Tower, while Bonnie becomes The Magician.
Together, we explore both playful and personal questions, including:
Peter (as The Tower) speaks to disruption and stripping away shaking foundations—referencing Jaws, deconstructed burgers and why some structures are meant to fall. Meanwhile, Bonnie (as The Magician) brings the energy of creation, intention, and everyday magic—complete with a nod to Practical Magic, serving ceviche with a little flair, and the reminder that you have power to create. And, Bonnie was right, so the clip stayed in the episode (you’ll have to listen to find out more) 😉
This episode is about breakdowns and breakthroughs, the power of perspective, and how the right question can open the door to transformation.

In this week’s episode of Dinner with the Majors, Peter steps into the grounded, nurturing energy of The Empress, while Bonnie channels the soul-stirring intensity of Judgement. As always, we answer questions as if we are the archetypes—blending play, presence, and some surprisingly real-life truths.
We explore questions like:

As Judgement, Bonnie challenges us to drop the mask, listen for the deeper call, and finally book that soul-aligned ticket to Machu Picchu—or whatever your version of “wake-up” looks like.

What do stargazing, designer sunglasses, and Madonna have to do with tarot?
In this illuminating episode of our Dinner with the Majors series, we each draw a Major Arcana card and take turns stepping into its energy—answering questions as if we were that archetype. We talk about Joanna’s early experiences with tarot and how her connection to nature shaped her approach to creating her first deck. She also shares a powerful practice that anyone can use to deepen their relationship with nature during a simple walk outdoors.
Joanna gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming updated edition of The Gaian Tarot and what readers can expect from this new release. Throughout our conversation, Joanna’s compassionate and nurturing presence shines through, making this a truly heart-centered and inspiring episode.
At the end of the episode, we each pull a tarot card and offer our insights into the energy and messages that came forward.
