You heard that right. A trucker was on his way to an orientation, when he met up with two young ladies on the greyhound. Ultimately the girls had some cocaine. One thing led to another and up their noses went the white magical powder. Maybe I shouldn't joke about it but hey, what can I say? When anyone snorts drugs the day before he is scheduled to give a urine sample and submit to a DOT drug screen, it merits a few jokes.

You heard it right. A truck driver decided to rob a bank. He then leaves the scene of the crime and proceeds to jump in the getaway vehicle. You guessed it right, a big rig. I guess he was trying to be less conspicuous. You can't write these stories as far as fiction goes. The stories that come out of the trucking community are just, how do I say it? UPS Makes Cheap Offer For Drivers To Resign. Wow, can you believe how much or little UPS offered their driver, to resign? We did the math. If a driver has ten years with UPS and takes the "buy out". He will receive $18,000 minus taxes. He will take home approximately $14,000. The problem is, he is probably making over 100K per year. So, they are offering their drivers, 2 months pay to leave behind a high paying job. Then the drivers will have to replace UPS with, most likely a job that does not pay that well. Trucker Electrocuted In Kansas



A trucker was electrocuted this month when the oversize rig and trailer, he was pulling hit an overhead power line. A truck driver turned onto what appeared to be a service road, when the Oil Derrick he was pulling struck the line, ejecting him. The truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A few years ago I sat with an expert in the industry. A broker but a friend also. He told me 2025 would be the year we start seeing normality in trucking. It turns out he may just be right. The industry is turning and it might just be huge very soon. So, sit back drivers, you're about more freight than you can handle. Im sure this is something you are going to welcome.



I got sick of delivering the grim news of the freight recession. Now I am here to predict better times. Lord willing the United States will prosper and trucking should see it first.
