Uriel Reyes was born in Tijuana, Baja California. As a child, he learned to comprehend the language of horror movies he found on American television, even though he didn't yet understand the language. He studied Communication at the Autonomous University of Baja California and later drew inspiration from the radio programs he listened to during insomnia-ridden early mornings, ghost stories, and a recording of Juan Rulfo reading a story from "El Llano en Llamas" to create "Relatos de la Noche" a podcast that has made him one of the most listened-to voices in the Spanish-speaking world.

Tales of the Night is brought to you by Sonoro and Relatos de la Noche, in a collaboration with Generative Artificial Intelligence.
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we'll hear three stories in which everyday life is disrupted by presences that seem to claim a place. A family buys a "new" house for themselves, but it seems to still be inhabited by something else; an old home where the walls whisper increasingly unsettling warnings; and a hidden closet that holds photographs that should never have existed.
In this special episode of Tales of the Night, we gather testimonies that remind us why darkness, the silences of the early morning, and everyday places can become the settings for the inexplicable.
These are stories that travel from funeral homes and family residences to lonely roads and neighborhoods where time seems to stand still.
Stories that feel too close, too real… and that you might prefer not to hear alone.
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we delve into deeply personal and terrifying stories. A family trying to leave behind an entity that might have traveled with them… a shadow that appears every time a young woman reaches her darkest moments… a presence that manifests after a witchcraft task… and a visit that fulfills a promise made in the form of a game. Stories that remind us that fear doesn't always come from outside. That sometimes, it's born deep within our own stories.
Thank you for being here. Turn off the light, put on your headphones… and join us tonight. Do you dare to listen?
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we bring together seven stories that have one thing in common: they're so disturbing that many would rather not hear them.
Stories that begin in everyday situations—a walk, a phone call, a night at work—and end up becoming impossible-to-explain encounters.
Stories that don't just seek to frighten, but also remind us how close the strange, the sinister, and the macabre can always be. Seven stories you shouldn't listen to alone, or in the dark... because once you hear them, it'll be hard to stop thinking about them.
In this new episode of Tales of the Night, we'll accompany two brothers who, after a family tragedy, find solace in work and faith... at least for a while.
What seemed like a routine task within a church begins to reveal disturbing signs, and they will soon discover that there are doors that should never be opened. This is a story told from the most intimate depths, from the fear that arises in silence, when one begins to suspect that one is not as alone as one thought.
Our grandparents hold memories of an older world, full of mystery and superstition. Tonight we'll learn four of those stories: witches who live on top of the hill, a winged figure watching from Bellas Artes, a watchman who saw more than he should have in a cemetery, and the voice of a mother who never stopped calling her daughter from the depths of a well.
Tales told from generation to generation, warnings that survive the passing of time... and that return tonight to remind us that fear never dies.
Do you dare to listen?
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we'll explore places far from the city, where silence hides secrets and the wilderness still preserves something more than nature. Stories in which the unknown manifests itself in the form of dark figures, lurking presences, and threats that don't stay in the mountains... but can follow us back home.
* In this episode of Tales of the Night, we'll hear four stories that, from different corners of the city and different times of day, remind us that there are presences that don't understand logic or distance.
Middle Eastern demons that may be closer than you think. A terrifying figure in the middle of a prayer, a shadow that appears where it shouldn't, a passenger who returns without explanation... and a child who, from a window, seems to still be waiting for something.
Each of these stories comes accompanied by a fear that isn't shouted out, but remains silent, growing stronger with time.
Tonight, community, we slip into the driver's seat. Because those who work the wheel—be it taxi or rideshare—understand that the streets transform after dark.
This episode brings you firsthand accounts from drivers who've encountered far worse than heavy traffic or troublesome fares. Bizarre meetings at locations absent from any map, entities that materialize precisely when the route feels most desolate, and passengers who climb aboard... without ever touching the door handle.
True accounts from people who never sought out fear, yet discovered it in the course of their workday.
Kill the lights, settle in, and keep a close eye on that rearview mirror. Because tonight, Tales of the Night claims the passenger seat.
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we explore what ghosts leave behind when they don't finish leaving. A witch appears in a dream, perhaps, on the banks of the Rosas River in Tula de Allende. A delivery driver in the capital of Durango seems to come into contact with someone else's memories. And finally, a family marked by tragedy discovers that names and memories can carry more weight than we imagine. Three intimate stories, full of melancholy, and above all, fear. Welcome to The Forgetting of Ghosts.
In this episode, we'll hear three stories marked by silence, doubt... and fear.
Stories about people who are no longer with us, but who somehow seem to stay close.
About sounds, calls, and signs that arrive when we least expect them.
Stories that don't seek to scare us with screams, but with something harder to ignore: the possibility that we are not alone.
In this episode, we're joined by five stories submitted by the community. Tales that connect the past with the present, with memories that live on… and presences that have never left. From lonely roads to silent rooms, tonight we face the unknown.
Turn off the lights, get comfortable, and prepare to listen.
In this special episode of Tales of the Night, we delve into those moments when everyday life goes awry, when something familiar—a voice, a sound, a presence—no longer feels safe and becomes the beginning of a terrifying experience. Recent stories, told by those still trying to understand what they experienced, remind us that the paranormal doesn't always manifest itself in grand apparitions... sometimes, the most disturbing thing is what happens when we think we're alone at home.
Turn off the lights, get comfortable, and join us for these new stories that will make you question what you hear... and what you think you recognize.
Sometimes fear arrives without warning. It manifests itself in an unexpected whisper, a presence at the end of the room, or something that happens just when we think we're safe.
In this special episode of Tales of the Night, we've gathered seven short stories that demonstrate how the inexplicable can appear at any moment. Seven encounters recounted with sincerity by those who experienced them, and who continue to haunt them to this day.
If you're ready to be overcome by the most intimate and silent fear, turn off the light and settle in... the episode is about to begin.
Tonight, we present three stories that push the boundaries of what we want to understand as real. Impossible encounters, inexplicable presences that return when we least expect them, and figures who, most likely, are not what they seem.
In every dark corner, in every unexpected silence... remember that someone is probably watching you. Welcome to this Night of ghosts, goblins, and transforming beings.
Once again, turn off the lights, get comfortable... and let yourself be carried away by the following Tales of the Night.
What would you do if your neighbor died weeks ago, but you're still hearing her at home like you've always had? What would happen if you suddenly discovered that the ghost stories at work are real? And above all, what would your reaction be if you realized that goblins are more real than we think? Dare to listen to this episode.
Witches and rituals unintentionally interrupted, a strange virgin in a ghost town, the weeping woman, and black-eyed children. Do you dare to discover what awaits you in this episode?
They say that at 3 a.m. the limits between the world of the dead and the world of the living opens... but how do we know what's crossing it toward us? How do we know with what intentions? This is Tales of the Night
There are spirits awakened by our actions. If you should take anything away from tonight, this is a lesson: respect the spirits that may be near you. Today we're going to meet ghosts that inhabit the houses we visit, spirits that visit us, and even entities that may look similar... but are far from the same. So turn off the lights, let yourself go, and get ready... because there's no turning back. You're now listening to Tales of the Night.
Entities emerging from the subway, strange apparitions on a highway in the early morning, and a lesson: never go to Mexico City's Zócalo at night. You'll find this and more in this episode if you dare to listen.
This podcast is inhabited by the stories, urban legends, and horrors that you can find in towns not so different from yours; streets like the ones you walk every night; and even in a silent house in the middle of the night... exactly like yours.
