Welcome to Suno Bollywood! I’m Rix, your host. Each week, I dive into Indian cinema; Bollywood hits, Malayalam gems, Tamil treasures. I give my honest take on the music, casting, themes, and more. Most films don’t blow me away, and I’m not afraid to say it. But when something's done right, I’ll hype it up. Occasionally I'm joined by guests who offer their unique perspectives, but mostly it's me, my hot chocolate, and my unfiltered opinions. If you love Indian films and don’t mind a little tough love, hit play and let’s get into it!

In the debut episode of Suno Bollywood, I dive into my honest reaction to the Hindi film Nadaniyaan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Despite high hopes—especially for Ibrahim’s big Bollywood launch—the film left me pretty disappointed. From cringey writing and unrealistic plot points to awkward dubbing, it was tough to enjoy. That said, Khushi’s fashion really stood out (except one hilarious outfit), and the creative doodle edits and credit scene were lovely touches. I also loved the surprise appearances by familiar 2000s stars. It wasn’t all bad—but yeah, definitely not the debut I was hoping for.
