What a week! Bailey and Jess actually watched quite a bit this week so they're excited to go through everything (no spoiler warning because they're the best). They're almost at the end of season 2 of Veronica Mars so there is alot to talk about from each episode. From the looks of the episode title, Bailey and Jess's thoughts on Madame Web are pretty clear. They have fun talking about the hits and misses of the movie as well as their theater experience which was funnier than the movie itself.
Happy Valentine's Day! Whether you're single or happily committed, V-Day is always a fun excuse to get in the romantic spirit. This year Bailey and Jess went with the self-explanatory movie: Valentine's Day (2010). With multiple storylines and so many great actors (and Taylor Swift) there is a lot to unpack in this movie. Before that, Bailey and Jess talk about what they watched with spoilers for the new season Abbott Elementary.
What did Bailey and Jess watch this week? With Bailey watching Love on the Spectrum and Jess binging Ted Lasso, this episode is so fun! They're still on season 2 of Veronica Mars but nearing the finale, Bailey and Jess give their theories and predictions as the season wraps up. Argylle is a new movie starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Henry Cavill, the trailer presents it as a funny and relatable spy novel movie based on a book. Bailey and Jess give their overall impression and break down the movie's triumphs and misses.
This week Bailey and Jess are talking all things awards season in the TV & Film Industry! They deep dive into the different awards and how they're nominated, voted, and aired on TV. Before that, they shared what they're watching with Jess still on Ted Lasso and Bailey watching a few movies inlcuding Rent and Fried Green Tomatoes.
After skipping last week due to Jess being sick (ew) Bailey and Jess have LOTS to recap during what they're watching. They each watched a new show that the other one loves (spoilers for Abbott Elementary and Ted Lasso) and a few movies to recap too. You're probs living under a rock if you haven't heard of Mean Girls (2024) and btw it's a musical. Bailey and Jess were so excited to see the movie and share their (slightly conflicting) opinions, and unpack the difference between the original, the musical, and the musical movie.
Is there anything Bailey and Jess love more than a rom-com?? Heading into the new year with a new rom com, Anyone But You is funny, charming, and so much fun it just might be the start of bringing back good rom-come. Before they dive into the movie, Bailey and Jess share what they're watching while trying to stick to their new release resolution (spoilers for Fair Play, Leave The World Behind).
Happy New Year! Hosts Bailey and Jess are recapping the top movies and tv shows of 2023 and looking ahead to 2024! They're talking their favs, their binges, their predictions and their expectations. (Spoiler alert for Saltburn, The Bear, Abbott Elementary, The Last of Us)
Less than a week away from Christmas and Bailey and Jess could not be more excited. They share what Christmas movies they've been watching leading up to the holiday and a few other things they've been watching. This week's episode of Veronica Mars (S2 E15) was both dynamic and anti climactic. Bailey recommended Christmas with the Campbells (2023) on Hulu because she lol'd and had to get Jess to watch it. As a satirical comedy, this movie makes fun of all of the cheesy, cliche parts of Hallmark-esque Christmas movies in the funniest and cringiest possible ways.
As much as Bailey & Jess love the classics, they also love checking out new holiday movies each year. This year, Exmas on Freevee by Amazon caught everyone's attention with the main cast of Leighton Meester and Robbie Amell. A cute rom-com centered around Christmas is always a yes and Bailey & Jess of course had to say all their favorite lines, funny moments, and no Christmas movie is complete without some tears and heartwearming moments too. Before that, Bailey & Jess share what they've been watching including another holiday movie from Bailey, and a couple of plane movies (watched on the plane not about planes) from Jess.
