Christy’s journey through the early years of motherhood wasn’t what she expected.
While being pregnant with twin girls, she faced the heartbreak of infidelity and the hidden pain of her then-husband’s drug addiction. Torn between leaving and staying, she was fixated on “the other woman” while the deeper issues unfolded. Christy finally made the decision to leave and start fresh with her daughters, with a little help from a friend who provided much needed and timely clarity on her TRUE reality, not the one she was telling herself. That leap of faith led to open doors: a job, housing, daycare, and eventually a new chapter with a loving husband who adopted her girls as his own.
This is a story of hard choices, unexpected blessings, and the power of walking away from what no longer serves you.
