One of the most overused phrases in business? “What got you here won’t get you there.” Now I do actually love this phrase because it’s practical, but it’s also highly infuriating. The way I interpret this statement, which is something that I think a lot of different business owners are saying, is that we need to explore new strategies to reach new levels of growth. Directionally, I believe that's true and I think that we need to be open to exploring that, but what I think gets a little bit kind of mixed up is this idea that we need to throw the baby out with the bath water.
