I continue Franklin's story and go into the implications of staying in a very abusive relationship. This time not from my mother's perspective, but from my own.

I discuss mental health, schizophrenia and confidence in the next installment of Checkmate.

In this instalment of Checkmate I've just come off what I can only describe as a breakdown. I explain the initial stages of my situation with Meghan and how I came to be in London for the very first time. How I completely disliked everything about the place and how electric candle's should never, ever be a thing.

I also go into how it's so easy to misread a situation, especially if you're from an abusive past yourself and your confidence is at a stupidly low level.

I am not justifying any of my actions, I am merely explaining them.

I should have run a mile, I did not.

I continue Checkmate where I talk about violent households, Courtney claiming she was pregnant and the affects on a young mind. How mental illness can manifest and the difficulties of potentially spiritual events.

Was I crazy? Am I today? You decide.

Honestly I'm so positive about life in general mother's day doesn't bother me at all these days.

In infact I make a big effort for the kids to celebrate Ellen's special day to show appreciation for her and cherish her for eveyrthing she does, because honestly she's awesome.

However there's a stark difference between how some people celebrate mother's day and how others do.

That aside, if you're a mum, dad or single parent and you actually try with your kids, believe me you're making an enormous difference.

I take a shot here, I open up a little in this episode and i make an effort to be more authentic than I usually am.

I'm calling on all the confident people out there. My mother loved to dance. I don't recall her voice but i remember her dancing with a drink in her hand.

Her favourite song was Eternal Flame by the Bangles.

Checkmate from #Traciedailybooks

Continues with my relationship with an older women, leaving the care system for the third and final time and managing to upset a spook. I kid you not the breakdown leads to more and more in the sense of mental problems.

Who would have guessed a history of psychological abuse and trauma would lead to long lasting problems later in life? Would would have thought this was even possible?

See a kid acting out, ask why, then ask why again. It's so easy to dismiss it as a pain in the ass kid. Truth is that kid is going through some stuff. It might be stuff you'd never manage as an adult in a million years.

You don't know.

Listen, act. Don't just react.

Be the change.

I continue our adventure in the second book of my autobiography Checkmate.

I discuss social services, homelessness, care issues and how I eventually end up moving back to my hometown. Macclesfield and the rules which made me, broke me and reassembled me.

I discuss allsorts of crime and why it's really, really not good.
